I use air too!!!!! Yeah Kev I shoot some air in that pivot and all around it give it a nice clean with a rag and re oil!!!!!! Thanks brother be well

For the breakin, can try automotive valve lappig compond. Coat the wear points and open/close etc 50 times maybe and then clean with also the compressed air. I've done this on my guns and can really take the smootness to another level.

I have good luck with sort of the Microtech cleaning method of hosing it out with Remoil and air on most knives. The only ones I usually take down semi regularly are Sebenzas.
I would never do that method haha. Not even on an otf. But to each their own of course
@LeftyEDC yea, I know you like tearing them down. I don't mind doing it, I just don't always have time, so I flush the crud out and keep going. I'm glad you love it, though, because I enjoy watching:)

Ok got a question that will show I am a nubie when it comes to slip joints. Where does the term walk and talk come from?
Idk the exact timeframe haha. But its referring to the Walk (action of the knife opening and closing) & Talk (Sound of the knife opening and closing) Walk n Talk.. get it?
I think that dry lube must be similar to tuff glide.
Interesting cuz i hate tuff glide. This hasn’t impressed me much yet either. But i need to try it on some more stuff
@@LeftyEDC I always forget I have had mixed results with tuff glide and try it again and usually don't like it either.
