- Hey Rockside Fam, I decided to pick up the 1/7 scale Hoonigan and do an unboxing and test run for you guys. Let me know your thoughts or any questions. I will address them as soon as possible in the comparison video coming out in the next day or so.

Did you do diff inspection
Tearing the car completely down and putting new motor/esc etc…..
Well you better add servo and ESC motor and coil springs

Lol yes that’s all included in me doing a complete breakdown, and I did mention changing all the electronics, thanks for the tip though

So about that recall.... sounded pretty bad if they're having the trucks sent back and or refunded. Not sure how that got out the doors with deans and that servo. I wouldn't be surprised if this was from a small new company but TA is one of the oldest and usually makes great rigs.

Great looking body for sure, but after showcasing the rear end, I couldn't help noticing the disturbing misalignment of the right taillight. I can't not see it, and it's just disappointing to see the lack of detailed quality control.
But she is a beast on the road,.. enjoy!
Thank you for the message, yea it’s funny I noticed that also with the passenger light and if you notice the # badge is not aligned either, eh nothing is perfect lol, but like you said it’s definitely a beast
Are you going to put a gyro in it? It will definitely hold straight lines at high speeds if you do.
No. just upgrade the servo.
That’s what I did to mine. It goes straight.

@@RockSideRC I did my first run today. First with no gyro and it was squirrelly. I couldn’t even hold a drift. Once I turned the gains up on the gyro it was rock solid. Awesome! Full power drag runs followed by some drift turns and all I did was use an AR6110 with AVC gyro. Amazing car now.

Eh it’s ok, most of us change the electronics anyway, that was my plan, seems to be a good platform
The recall was not true. It was only done from Amain not the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and they said the car works and operates fine that recall was from Amain only.
@championcarcare8207 That was pretty evident, I seen Amain took it down but the ppl/company who own it (Horizon Hobby) never took it down, so that was my 1st clue, how do you like yours are you having fun figuring out why it doesn’t handle well like everyone else who has one 😂

Thank you for watching, but if you want scroll passed my unboxing, I definitely take it for a test run, it was decent, definitely needs some work to keep it straight in the higher speeds
Hey dude, you’re driving is questionable become a better driver because we can’t appreciate the car without it being properly driven
Let me guess yours is the only one that out the box it handled like a dream, because every other video I’ve seen of this vehicle they complain of the car and it’s handling, I’m actually a very good driver, if you are from NY or you ever come visit NY your more then welcome to race against one of my cars, either way enjoy whatever you have, it’s called a test run for a reason, to see the capabilities of the vehicle, which shows it’s pretty much sub par to the Arrma vehicles we know and love

You can't just "get on it", that car is so bad it's been recalled. I did my video just as I got word of the recall and I tore into this car it's awful. I love team Associated, but this thing is terrible
@Rek_Rc I totally agree, team associated is great but the handling/electronics are definitely subpar on this vehicle they produced

Do a real speed run and you’ll see. But if you keep driving like it’s your first RC…
It’s a unboxing/test run, I don’t do speed runs anyway, I like my drag racing, I mentioned the car does not handle well on higher speeds, if your from NY your more then welcome to come out and race one of my cars 😎

@@RockSideRC I’m not trying to be a dick by any means. I just watched two of my buddies try and drive them and both of them, who are pro’s, thought there was something wrong with the RC… and then they both got a recall notice… I was getting frustrated because I knew it was going to be impossible to drive at any rate of high speed, but you didn’t get on it lol, you should have seen me telling you(my phone) to drive it faster! Anyway, just know that I wasn’t trying to be crappy towards you in any way…
