- Who is High School Jim?
"High School Jim is, Steve Patrick on vocals, Peter Rosch on bass, Matt Peccini on drums, Craig "Sven" Gordon on guitar, and I on vocals and guitar. We wrote, played, sang, and recorded this track in my control room, in one day. I mixed it to sound like a live performance, and that was it! There are a lot of rumors on the internet about who this band was. It's pretty funny."

This basically was an AMV before AMV were a thing. CN/boomerang were ahead, Lol.
Who else is here, Because we all miss watching Yogi Bear on Boomerang so much?
Boomerang is becoming Cartoon Network's dump for when a show ends.
You spelled Yogi Bear the Movie wrong.
@@crashban4t.f.s.b783 What are you talking about? No one was talking about Yogi Bear The Movie, Just normally Yogi Bear.
@@crashban4t.f.s.b783 Yeah, He's right. No one was talking about Yogi Bear The Movie from 2010, Only the classic Yogi Bear cartoons.
Yes!!!!!! I miss boomerang period! And cartoon Network!!❤❤❤😭😭😭😭
It's one of those rare moments where old cartoons are made to look badass! 🚬😎
Ok boomer
I’ve been looking for this for so long! Finally!!! It’s the reason I wanted an electric guitar as a kid.
I forgot how much of a bop this song was. This is probably one of my favorite Groovies besides Courage's Night Frights and Back to the Lab Again.
And Atom Ant
mine was this and jabberjaw
These shorts are the reason of my current music taste
Musically, this song is genuinely and unironically great.
I'm usually not into hardcore punk, but this does the whole Pixies "loud quiet loud" think so that the hardcore parts hit extra hard.
The backing vocals also add a lot to the verses, especially in the end where they sound a lot like the harmonies of Van Halen's Michael Anthony.
He discovered the mystery behind high school Jim after yeeears
Than you very much, this is the best Groovie.
This and jabberjaw were the best
Also We Got a Gorilla For Sale
I missed this for a long time now already!
One of the best intros to a song in history, fite me
This is lit.😊🔥
I missed watching this. I remember watching this a long time ago.
The first Hardcore Punk I ever heard, I was 7 years old when I heard this groovie.
I dont know why, but this gives me "United States of Whatever" vibes but with Death Grips energy when the chorus comes on.
I gotta ask
When was this song recorded?
@Lavender Trebuchet try again this sucker was running on Cartoon Network in the late 90s
I was 10-11 when these aired, so it had to be between 2000-2001.
Never realized this was a punk song
Probably cuz you didn’t know what punk was at the time lol
@@kazami7915 Yo your music goes fking hard wtf
