One of these days, I'd like to see a game that sasses you for skipping the tutorial. Like a game where you can skip the tutorial, but if you quickly die afterwards and are given another chance to look at the tutorial, it says something like "Oh, NOW you wanna learn, Mr. Overconfident?" And I want Arin to play it.
In France we have a little variant called 'les petits chevaux' (the little horses) because we use horse pieces and we have to get exactly on the point before the final zone and then get the number on each part to go up. But I guess no one I've played this with followed that rule because I remember using the ludo rule for that part so 🤷♂️

I've only ever played this game as 'Trouble', where the die is in a dome in the middle of the board and it makes a really solid, satisfying click when you press it to roll, so I always associate it with that. Not having the click just feels wrong... almost as wrong as that banana-eating 😆

Sorry has a deck of cards, two slides on each side the board (if you land at the start of the slide, you slide to the end and knock out any pieces that were on it), and some of the cards let you move backwards, so it's possible to move a piece from the start to the end very quickly
This is the most emotion I've felt in years, and my facial muscles are exhausted from cringing at such a horrifying, inhumane event. Arin, you have scarred me for life, and I can no longer go back to the man I was before I saw the first 30 seconds of this video.
To be fair, they've had a change in editors since then, and I don't think they ended up checking if it was already used. But at least you know their editor's humour is consistent across the board.
The most well known commercial version of Ludo in the UK is literally called Frustration. All the different names relating to how angry the game can make you is honestly excellent.
