I really do think Ubisoft missed an opportunity with the Olympic Torch as a quest item, since you go and participate anyway. I really do like it a lot.
Even though I don't have this game I really respect the fact that even though it came out like eight months ago it has so many things to do and so much replay value you can keep playing it to this day. I hate games that you spend $70 on, finish it in 3 days and never play it again. (I'm looking at you Tomb Raider)
The Mallet of Everlasting Flame is one of my favorites to use. Not the most powerful weapon but there's something extremely satisfying when using it same goes for Jasons hammer.
Same, when I got Jason's hammer I 1: noticed that I also have Jason's golden fleece chest plate so now I am trying to find the rest of the set, and 2: I used it mostly on mercenary's because it seems to deal a lot of damage to mercenaries
For that mission I spent so long on it until I realised you can sit up on a tiny ledge at the back of the cave and just shoot arrows at it, quite cheeky.
@bricktop. I tried at level 12 and got whooped, then I came back at level 16 and kicked it's butt with a staff on fire. The staff really helped with the group of boars and let's you get multiple hits..
@@CosmicConsciousness23 staves are hood but not better than swords They are just well balanced, do nice damage with high speed and have great combos The light atack×3 then heavy atack takes half of the lide of a merc
I use Eros bow with the +40 % damage with bows from above targets engraving and devastating shot ability , it works really well on forts with lots of guards so they can be taken out fast .
I love your list. With so many awesome legendary weapons, even really good ones like the Atlantean Blade would fall out of the top 10. Also, there's a couple of other legendary staffs that are out there though none of them are really good. Once you hit 99 and start min-maxing your equipment though, you'd most likely go for epic weapons.
I prefer swords all over as a warrior. Because fast fire-build-up and adrenaline. I also got a lot of crit while 100% health. The prometheus sika is my fav.
I prefer the Xiphos of Dionysos sword for my assassin/crit build, plus the +20% Damage with Hero Strike Ability is awesome for taking down elites and bosses.
@@Zombies12344bcwhenever you’re trying a “build” make sure your entire set is a bonus to that play style. Why have 150% assassin damage when you can have 250%?
i like the Arachne's Stingers a lot..Its poison properties in conjunction with the poison mastery and venomous attack abilities make it pretty killer (pun intended)..
Sword of kings is also my favorite weapon. The judgement of lion axe is pretty decent because of the chain attack. Obviously I don't have flaming melee weapons, but I do use the Hades bow. But of course you can't have good weapons and not have a high crit chance/damage. I have 510++ crit damage while full health. This works pretty good in the arena or the battlefields, but when I fight bosses, mercenarys or medusa it's good to have a combo of overpower attacks and fury of the bloodline. That is a lifehack right there. Of course the -1 segment engraving for overpower attacks comes in play, and also when you upgrade the duration time for the abilities in the mastery levels, you could use the bloodline often, and/or maybe the ring of chaos.
If u like playing like an assassin, i recommend the Pilgrim set. It Lets you use that invisibility abilitie without spending any adrenaline. Just try to upgrade it as much as you can.
I always enjoyed fire builds.. so I use the prometheus sieker with the 200%crit fire damage buff, or the mace that looks like saurons eye for heavy fire. Spears are awesome as well, par the heavy attack which sucks.. powerful but can't be aimed properly. Arachnes dagger for poison builds.. I always use armour perks for elemental build up as it leaves the weapon free for damage buffs.. champions oestraka for example.
Great video Jor! In my assassin build i personaly use xiphos of diosysos and the greek hallo because of crit and for extra hero strike damage if i fail to assassinate properly, and nemean claw engrave for some epic assassin bow. For warrior build im using achilles spear and spear from underworld pack, and some epic warrior bow too 😊
I use the Harpe of Perseus all the time. I use lost of Assassin abilities. i also like to use a poison dagger that I forget the name of. And I use that trident still for breathing underwater and also for hunting animals.
So glad I gave this game a chance. Never really enjoyed the new Assassins creed games since AC3 but I ended up getting Odyssey last week and now I'm addicted
Staff of Hermes Trismegistus Only weapon in the game to have 40% chance to ignore half the damage. You can engrave head or waist with same perk and dump skill points on mastery level to get 20% chance to ignore half damage. You will be getting 100% CHANCE to ignore half the damage
I love the poison bow and daggers, ever since Origins when we got the amazing poison daggers, I've loved using the poison weapons in the game cuz they just wreck everything lol.
I prefer The Hunter's Blade (looks like a deer skull, 50% damage on animals and 25% crit w/ predator shot) and Swift Slayer (50% warrior damage after parry) since I have a hunter/warrior build anyway but I also really love the Dikastes Staff since I can go to town on everyone and it just knocks them out. Less chance of mercs coming after me all the dang time and since it's a warrior staff it's pretty powerful.
In case you didn't know, the 40% damage when behind perk doesn't actually affect assassination damage. You can test it out yourself, it's only for melee attacks when you're behind. Only really useful for a boss fight.
After spending over 300 hours with Swords, I've replaced them with Daggers (450+ hrs now). Trust me, Daggers are WAY better in every aspect except a little bit shorter range. The fast, heavy, and charged heavy attacks are much better with Daggers. I'm using a solid warrior build with the "Dagger of Kronus" and an EPIC warrior dagger as a secondary weapons + CRIT Chance/Damage While Full Health and solid Resistances (especially Melee Resistance). It's by far the most OP setup I could imagine, your character becomes on steroids and literally impossible to kill in combat, especially melee combat.
The Staff of Hermès Trismisgistus (a spear!) is the only weapon with the chance to ignore half damage perk. At end game with 40% from the Staff, another 40% from one armor piece, and 20 points in the mastery, you get to 100% half damage. This is a good spear to pair with the Hades Bident. The downside is that the legendary perk is basically useless (low chance for health shield). So it’s good until you get a ton of ability points where you can easily get to 50/100 Crit chance without needing extra engravings like the Nemean Lion set bonus. In any case it’s one of the strongest legendary weapons for defense. Note: the Spartan Javelin from the Thelatas Way quest is an epic piece but has melee resistance. No other weapon has that.
Hahahaha Now that you've achieved your main goal, (great live stream btw - mind BLOWN when the Hades Lieutenant popped up!! ) what will be your signoff now?
8:02 is that 30% more damage while full health in general or only when using the weapon? So like if i have that weapon equipped and i assassinate someone while full health, does my assassination damage also benefit from that?
In my opinion the best weapon for Assassin style play is Blade of the Ephemeral because you can stack it with the Assassin engraving and get free 65% Assassin damage.
purple armor is better. U get more engravings. U can have 100% CRIT Chance while full health + close to 100% resistances = invulnerable + doing a shed load of damage
I just use the falx and rod of asklepios with pilgrim's set for Assassin playstyle. I have never died since I used it which was back around 6 or 7 months
I have no clue how the "Swift Slayer" isn't on this list. Not even an honorable mention. -Warrior Damage -Damage with Heavy Bladed Weapons -+50% Damage and Elemental Buildup after Parry No reason that isn't one of the best weapons in the game. At 11:21 he said the sword of kings is the number one best weapon in his top 10 weapons but hell is the weapon with all damage is a good weapon it doesn’t even have correct chance or correct damage
Hello JorRaptor. May I ask you whats your build in this video? Seems awesome. Maybe there is an info for it that i didnt see yet? Thanks for answering. Keep going with your work!
I personally don't like the new direction "Assassin's Creed" games went. (their just RPG's with the name stamped on at this point). But a viking RPG does have me intrigued. The main and only thing I love about these games is the mythological aspect, where they let you fight gods and monsters and have fantasy weapons/mounts.
Up until now I’ve been playing the various Legendary armor sets but now I have an Epic set I like for a warrior/assassin mix. So with perks like extra damage with spears and staffs I really like the Black Thorn with an added charged heavy attack perk. But right now I am playing the Atlantis dlc so I paired up the Hero Sword with the Hero Strike perk (makes sense, right?) and I found an epic two-bladed axe that has +36% vs ISU so I put the 50% melee charge speed on that. Combined with adrenaline per hit perks on various items, I can heavy attack faster and regain adrenaline fast after getting zapped by those pesky kolossi. And btw, I hate the Falx. I used it at lower levels for street sweeping town guards but that’s about it.
I use this dagger, too. I'm a warrior/assassin hybrid build (more the former than the latter), and it is a huge help. The heavy attack lunge is a great distance-closer, and the poison effect both lowers the enemy's armor rating and decreases the damage such said enemy does (I think by 25% to each, base. Could be wrong). Really helps boost my survivability, and I don't need to have "poison weapons" slotted in my powers because "all weapon damage is poison damage." Really a great weapon, though I wish this game had a sword equivalent. I kind of miss the sword animations, but I've learned to make do. Oh, and poison doesn't bounce back onto you like fire damage does. Tried the Prometheus' Sika and set myself on fire one too many times. :-P
The daggers are nuts, took on a level 80 as a 48 with them (yes you still can’t be hit or it’s a one shot) spec for them and nothing will survive a encounter
Eli W. Yes. It needs to go that way. I always enjoy it more when it lets me “look how I want to look” with armor and weapons and keep the focus on the action/adventure/stealth gameplay. That’s why I prefer the way the outfits were in Origins and are just for looks.
What a missed Easter egg legendary weapon would of been the Blades of Chaos / Sword of Olympus/ Herakles lion fist which Kratos uses in God of War , a great nod to that franchise since Kratos is Spartan . That would of been epic if AC did that as a DLC

The main and only thing I love about these games is the mythological aspect, where they let you fight gods and monsters and have fantasy weapons/mounts.
Hunter abilities don't have a cooldown though so the harped of Perseus is only really useful for the engraving.
What is that ability that you're doing at 10:57 where you press RT over and over and you slam?
It’s a super attack with heavy blades
I use the sword of kings with the black thorn in my second slot plus a lot of critical change and damage make it really powerfull.
I'm a fan of Arachne's Stingers cause I play an assassin/poison build
Ellwood Riesing wow so interesting...
Nikolaos' sword is the best for warrior players in my opinion
Me too. My go to primary weapon.
@@NoName-yw1pt for me it's best for leveling up when your using a conquest battle technique when fighting for spartan because 5of its athenians damage
I wanna see a ' jack of all trades' build. Meaning 1 shot as assassin, 1 shot w hunter. And maybe ehm.. 3 strike with warrior..
The daggers are nuts, took on a level 80 as a 48 with them (yes you still can’t be hit or it’s a one shot) spec for them and nothing will survive a encounter
Can't wait for your fate of Atlantis episode 2 video
me too!
The best weapon for me is my edge of time dagger that has poison damage and does great damage from my engraving
My favourite weapons are sword and spears rarely use heavy weapons
Assassins Creed should be a game that makes weapons preference based and no objectively best weapons
Eli W. Yes. It needs to go that way. I always enjoy it more when it lets me “look how I want to look” with armor and weapons and keep the focus on the action/adventure/stealth gameplay. That’s why I prefer the way the outfits were in Origins and are just for looks.
What kind of weapon is in 9:25 its so cool that its fully clothed in fire what weapon is that?
What a missed Easter egg legendary weapon would of been the Blades of Chaos / Sword of Olympus/ Herakles lion fist which Kratos uses in God of War , a great nod to that franchise since Kratos is Spartan . That would of been epic if AC did that as a DLC
Great content
Literally a hot take but I’d say Poseidon’s trident engraved with weapon damage becomes fire damage.
Hey, what is the armor we see when you show the weapon stats? The helmet looks cool
i want to win the herakles amory set because i like your videos and you are a great youtuber, keep up the good work
