    Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! shop.bbtv.com/c...
The Becker shotgun is a very unusual blow-forward, revolving cylinder shotgun made in Germany in the 1920s (although it was originally patented in the late 1890s). Only a very small number were made - allegedly as few as 100. The serial number on this one appears to be 755, which could mean more were made, or that the company perhaps numbered several different types of guns in the same serial number block. All of the known examples are in 16 gauge, with a capacity of 5 rounds.
Thanks to Hire Arms in Johannesburg for giving me access to this very scarce gun to film for you!

When I saw the shotgun in action; I thought it was an automatic weapon, but after finding information about it - it was never used in the second world war. I stumble upon your channel and seeing the weapon for myself and - whooo boy; the people who develop the next call of duty game, didn’t get it right when the shotgun you shown was supposed to pull the tubed to reload the cylindrical gun. At this point I’m disappointed that sledgehammer games didn’t study the weapon right as it was supposed to be. The historic accuracy was flown out of the window for them at this point and now I know, and I appreciate learning about the weapon itself on the channel.

Becker is a pretty common name, hailing from the middle ages meaning, well, baker? I dont know the english word for it but the guy working the bakery, its still 'bäcker' in german which in turn is a lastname although i think becker is more common, presumably an older spelling

It can also mean someone who lived close to a "Bach", meaning a small river. And in the british english there is still "beck" which means the same as creek in american english. The german name "Beckenbauer" is fitting for a backing farmer.
