Your videos are always a breath of fresh, intellectual air. The kind of air found only at the highest of mountain-tops, where ancient philosophers once pondered the great conundrums of the Earth and the stars.
Great video and I enjoyed it and Creed Aventus is one of my favorite fragrances of all time it's a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and I like Mont Blanc Explorer and Mancera Cedrat Biose as well and have a blessed day

Your adherence to Eau des Merveilles is well-founded and appreciated; completely underrated. My girlfriend wears it and smells delightful. It's her respite from the sickly-sweet perfumes typically are directed at her gender. It's fresh, bright, and such a pure citrus that holds up well in high heat. The Merveilles bottle design alone is a work of art.
I want to buy this fragrance for my girlfriend too. Do you recommend the EDT or the elixir. Thank you

Manarola!!! That’s an episode I would go crazy if made. It was a dream destination for me. I visualized it, painted it, and in 2014 I got to actually visit it. It was one of the best moments in my life. I’ll be looking forward for the episode. The more I watch your content the more I appreciate you. Since April last year till now and it doesn’t get boring.
Original Vibrant leather edt, Parfums vintage vanilla intense, parfums vintage emporer edp, CDNI and cedrat boise my top 5.
Looking forward to smelling the intense version of cedrat boise.

IO-KO 23 I blindly bought after seeing one of your vids on summer fragrances you loved. It was pricey, but it’s fantastic! Never been so happy to blind buy a fragrance. Definitely like Aventus but with an Italian twist with the sicilian fruits.
Montblanc explorer is definitely my go to during the summer. You can’t go wrong with the pricepoint and quality.
Always happy to see the brilliant masterpiece that is Eau des Mervilles get the love it deserved for the last 17 years!

I got io.ko 1954 i mirage 23 as soon as you described it in one of your videos as italian aventus. You really know perfumes so trusting you completely when i did a blindbuy still felt safe and i did this without catching a whiff of aventus. Id look at Eau des merveilles next given your recommendation. :)

Eau De Merveilles is a lovely scent but I found it too feminine for me. I ended up buying L'ombre de Merveilles instead, which to me is also amazing! Very underrated line in general. Thanks for recommending it, George!
I have Elixir des Merveilles and L'Ombre des Merveilles, I love both of them and wear them in the autumn. I also like Eau des Merveilles Bleue, but it doesn't last on me. Eau des Merveilles doesn't work on me and it doesn't last, but I like the way it smells on paper.

You should make a video with Chris (Fragmental) outdoors with Witer/Christmas fragrances. Something like the last video you did a while ago posted in Fragmental chanel i cant remember in what city it was but i remember that i enjoyed that one a lot, the combo with beeing outdoors and later in the coffee shop. You make awesome content anyway, Thank you.
My girlfriend just got a Hermes gift set that included eau des merveilles and honestly, what a great recommendation in this video. Definitely on the list for 2022.
Yay, great video. I put Explorer and Cendrat Boise on each hand before watching. The weird thing is, Explorer smells better to me now in than it did in the summer. Still, Mancera all the way.
Explorer in my experience, i noticed 8 weeks maceration after i sprayed it, i noticed it got stronger and smoother.

Explorer smells like Aventus for all of 30 seconds before it becomes this green-woody thing that isn't even close anymore.
Aventus is the “Stairway to Heaven” of fragrances. It’s a classic, and sooooooo played out. But it will also never get old and will always have fans. Great video as usual, George! 🤟
Played out? By who? The fragcom maybe but not the general public. I've never met anyone in my normal everyday life that's ever heard of aventus let alone creed.

Nice picks. And I prefer Eau Des Merveilles (tried it thanks to your recommendation) over Aventus and that is from someone whose favorite fragrance is Bracken Man.
Rasasi's Qasamat Rasana is a great Aventus twist fragrance, with a terrific green apple top note.
Imho Terre de Hermes Edt isn't new but is definitely a worthy alternative to Aventus as both smell great in the air and have an alluring drydown. I'd go as far to say that TDH edt just leaps ahead in terms of compliments.
tbh Office does have Aventus similarities. Funny clip when u were bringing it out with the background music hahah
There once was a hugo boss fragrance called Elements Aqua that also used pineapple as a main note.

I have NEVER put my nose to aventus or a direct clone but I do own cedrat boise without knowing how close it really is to aventus. the Hermes to me seems to me like the one to go for first naturally

I have Explorer and I’ve had Aventus. They are not that similar to my nose. I actually preferred Explorer to the version of Aventus that I had a couple of years ago

CDNIM limited edition is $ 60 for 3.4 oz and after 20 minutes smells exactly like Adventus for 7 hours :) I have tested side by side multiple times :)
Yeah or mont blanc explorer. Both cheaper and longer lasting. Aventus last 4hrs for me new formulation sucks.
@La Olmera I did the EDT is $ 30 USD for 3.4 oz and is very close as well but only lasts 4 hours
I got it for $50 but that’s not important, what’s important that it’s my most complimented fragrance ever. I couldn’t believe how often I was being stopped, followed or approached by absolute strangers, and told how amazing I smell and asked what I’m wearing.
Yeeaa bro its not, cdnim is pure garbage. I am not saying that i am creed aventus fanboy, price is absolute insane and stuff is every year weaker.. but CDNIM hype is beyound me, lavanture is atleast decent, cdnim is pure synthehic mess

Blind bought Eau Des Merveilles. Felt that it was a ladies' Terre D'Hermes. Gave it to the wife and she absolutely adores it.
Smelled eau des merveilles years ago but smell too feminine for me. Ended up instead with l'ambre des merveilles. Beautiful amber scent.

Explorer smells like the 2020 batches of Aventus thats true but not like the 2011 till 2018 batches 😃 my further adventure would be Nishane Ani and/or Eucris by Geo F Trumper 😉

When even the current creed aventus smells like an off-brand clone of the old creed aventus, why not go for the actual clones instead.

@@DWdawgable It's really not that good. Boise has this oily leather note that is so off. Especially with all the fresh elements.
