Hi there! I am one of "those derby" girls and we def did not mean to give the impression that we did not want ya there. That rink is not a rentable space and we regularly share with other folx. I was coaching and I believe I requested that our skaters give ya space and informed them that you were filming. No harm meant tho- see ya at the rink another time! ...and that wind was BRUTAL.

Thank you so much for the tutorial, I'm going to practice them asap. By the way, you can add a small weight to your tripod so it doesn't fall, some have a small hook between the legs that you use for this, your camera is suffering with every impact, I hope it's ok though. 💗
yes! I literally just got a new tripod thats wayyy more sturdy so no more wind messing with my footage! haha thanks love hopefully it'll be better in the future :)
I was trying to do some tricks on my skates but my toe stops are so chunky and in the way, It doesnt as smooth. I noticed you dont have chunky to stops. Is there a nbig difference when chainging them. Where can I find smaller ones? Or make a vid adjusting to no stops
@@tiannibyrd3828 You could get the Moxi brake petals or anything else with a shorter stem, they're not gonna be that much in the way. But ofc taking them off completely is the best for jam skating
Carla says removing the toe stops are the best for skate jamming, but I will respectfully disagree- some moves really benefit from having a toe plug to push off of/balance on. Look up Toe PLUGS not toe stops. They're more like lil nubs. They let you have the toe stop without it getting in the way nearly as much!
Beginner doesn’t always necessarily mean easy lol the moves get more challenging as I go on.. but I definitely understand wym I’m making another tutorial for all my baby deer out there because it looks like we need to work on things such as balance and coordination first so I’ll be doing more moves so maybe that’ll help 😇 I did most of these moves within my first few months of skating so I figured it was doable but everyone is different
