*Great for a family of 2 or 3. It cooks quinoa, white, jasmine **MyBest.Kitchen** and brown rice really well. Easy to clean and store because of the size. We haven't used the steamer part of it yet.*
I bought this steamer and used it for the first time yesterday to cook hard boiled eggs. It works a treat ! Love your video, very clear and concise. Top job.
all rice is filthy AND full of starch straight from the bag trust me. Wash the rice thoroughly first before steaming and you will taste the difference. Pop some cardoman seeds in. Wrap the tuna in some tin foil and add a little white wine and some sliced lemons for added flavor. Thanks for the review have ordered one as my old one bit the dust. The element eventually gives out.
Thanks for the review. I have this and the instructions do say to wash the plastic parts before using...otherwise finishing chemicals leaching onto your food without doing so - eek. Also, no flavour on your fish? Some sesame oil or ginger would be really nice with what you cooked!
I just made rice and it was absolutely delicious. I used 1 mug of rice to 1 1/2 mugs of water. First I cleaned the rice 3 times until the water was clear and left it to soak in the water for around 30 mins. Before I steamed the rice I added 1 tsp of salt. I know the idea of the steamer is for the food to be healthier, but I can’t eat rice without salt lol. I also added cumin seeds and sweetcorn or you can add peas and potatoes. Whatever takes your fancy! I put the timer on for 30 mins but there was still some water left, so I just put the lid back on and cooked for a further 20 mins. It came out perfect! Before serving I seasoned with fresh black pepper and chaat masala. If you can, try Shan Chaat masala from the Asian store, it’s so worth it!! Tastes delicious sprinkled on rice or chips or pakora. I though I made too much but my kids ate it all within minutes. I did manage to have a taste and it was so yum! Lol Also made potatoes but again they took longer than 30 mins. I used Maris piper potatoes. Total time 50 mins for everything to be cooked properly.
I give u ten thumbs up for setting yourself upon tube and doi g these videos, I know its takes a lot of preparation for u to do this. We make u tuning look so easy. Hi. I just bought mine today, I can't imagine steam the fish or chicken only for 10 minutes,I did mine for 30 mins. Potatoes will never be cooked also in that short period of time. Thanks for the video xx

It tasted delicious but I suppose everybody likes things a little different that’s why we have such a diverse mix of people

My steamer arrives in a few minutes. Think I'll steam baby taters
Only put distilled water in it. No scale.
Good idea
Thanks, Just bought the steamer.
Hope it serves you Well
Rice may still have a lot of starch in it... probably needs washing before steaming..
Yes your right we do tend to wash it now before steaming 🙂

You need to mention the min/max water indicator you pop in on the very bottom
He did at the very start Jeanne. He also shows you where the max level is and exactly how much water he used.
😃😃
