What I have seen from other YTers is when it comes to Delhi, is that "India is not for beginners". 😅😅😅 It is an overload on your senses all at once, with the sounds and sights and smells. I remember watching one YTer was walking the streets and filming the kiosk with tons of people mixed with dogs and cows, and along came an old man with push cart that passed him up and in the cart, which was clear as day, was a cadaver wrapped in a white sheet. So shocking! You see life and death at the same time on the streets of Delhi. I am a introvert that I would feel a little overwhelmed with the crowds. My main concern would be getting lost. Those were some nice pictures of the famous mosque for 50 rupees. That is like 60 cents. I would have given him at least $3 or $5. Just saying. Here in the US, you can't get a single thing for 60 cents. I just ate at McDonald's and my meal of a lousy burger, fries and a sugar drink was $10!! And that was the cheapest combo meal! I felt awful after eating it, but I was in a rush. Not that they were quick with the service...service has deteriorated tremendously. Nobody greets you, they just hand you your food. To be honest the US sucks big time! I hope to get away to Asia so that I can live and not be so miserable trying to just survive in the US. Now I have seen other YTers eat some just awesome, awesome food on the streets of Delhi. The Indian Muslims have their own neighborhood with all the different meat dishes. My mission is to find the best tasting Biryani dish in India. i am hoping to be there in a few months. Biryani was my first meal on the plane from Dubai to Mumbai and I never forgot it. It smelled heavenly, I could wait for the service crew to bring me my meal. And it was hands down the most delicious thing I have ever eaten in my life!!. I asked for a second one but there was none. I couldn't wait to land in India to eat it again. Unfortunately I spent only two weeks in India as I had to get back to my job and so I missed out. This is I why agree wholeheartedly with your guide and his words of wisdom. Time is the most important commodity in life. Before we know it, our time is up. I think of all the millions and millions that will never get to taste that Biryani plate and I feel so sorry for them. I am being very serious about it. To come into this world and not have the time to travel and indulge in a dish so incredible, truly tragic! Yes, your guide had some real words of wisdom there. I noticed you have been in India for quite a few months. I just joined your channel. You do provide a lot more real information. A lot of the other vloggers seem to rush through the sites or walk aimlessly through the streets with no history or knowledge of anything???. I don't understand the draw for their subscribers. Look forward to more of your videos.
Yes, Delhi is INTENSE, but somehow it grows on you, and also there are many other parts of Delhi that are nicer than some of the places seen in this video (see the "History, religious sites & street food of Delhi" video I made, which also shows a famous Muslim street-food area.) The crowds are crazy in some areas, but I don't think I ever got lost -- there's always a tuk-tuk driver ready to take you wherever you want to go, for a price! Cool. I've definitely had some tasty biryani in India! That guide was great, and I love his perspective. Thanks so much for watching. Hopefully future videos will be as information!
