This turned out STUNNING! Would love to watch the video on the larger canvas fail. There’s even something to learn from that. Love this journey and look forward to the next painting!
Hello 🤗🤗🤗 This is exquisite Sara, so much depth and awesomeness to explore. I am in love with "Beautiful Pearl ". Love and Light Namaste 🕉♾ ❤ to All. 🤗
Aha, Sara, in this one I can see that you’ve combined the two effects ❤ You should call it the ‘Plume’ (Ploom)! I’ve always loved your translucent base coat effects, the shadows and depth are just beautiful. It’s incredible that you’ve been able to create a bloom effect with such thin Pearl paints. To manage to hold it all together without it spreading everywhere is so clever. Well done. I can see the effects you were trying to achieve on the last upload, all come together in this painting. Beautiful, you’re such a talented lady. 🙏🏻🌻🌻🌻 X
OK I'm confused. It's probably the migraine I have at the moment. Is this all experimental or have you explained this process of doing a pearl pour with cell activator. You know I love your work and I really try to recreate your recipes and processes. I hope it's the migraine because I became totally lost while watching you create this beauty. It's so ethereal with these colors layered and the ghostly shadows. And the way you laid down the colors the blue looks electric in places. I love the outcome so I'll have to go back and watch this🤔 and see what I missed. I love when you experiment! Beautiful things happen! And I learn something! 😊 I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Sara, What did you cover the canvas with before adding the colored base coats? I know you began with the transparent base coat as the first layer in your composition but I'm wondering what you covered the canvas with before you began the layering? It's lovely, as always. 🥰
These are all thin, pearl paints, I started with a translucent pearl base coat, and then other colors of basecoat. The black and brown paint that I used on top are the puddle paints 👍
Exceptionally Beautiful.🤩
I am always blown away by your visions and how you execute them. Love love love these colors together.
Stunning!! Amazing how all those colors come through. That blue is wonderful. Always love watching your embellishments. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much!

So beautiful, I love how some pearl base colors kind of melt with the transparent base.
C’est époustouflant 😘💝
Thank you 🙏
Gorgeous piece Sarah. The dash of blue 👍
Beautiful Sara 😊
🙌❤
Beautiful piece, Sara. So delicate. I have a question on the transparent base: have you tried using untinted House paint. Thank you for sharing.❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! I actually am using an untinted deep base satin enamel.👍💕

Thank you Tara! I hope to explore this more once my kids are back in school 😂. It’s been a wonderful break, so much love. 💕

Good question! I did coat the canvas with translucent basecoat. Then I added other colors of basecoat and a black puddle paint as a “cell activator”.
Lovely piece! I’m confused tho , is this a thin pearl base or a pillow base as in the bloom technique?🤪txz Jeanne

Does not whole canvas need a base coat?
There was a full basecoat of translucent basecoat on the canvas, yes, for sure!
@SaraTaylor sorry. I did figure that out later. TY
