      I've never seen it since I was a kid, but I remember the USA version of "Jackpot" with Mike Darrow from 1985, but not this one. The theme song from the original "Jackpot" was also the theme to "This Week in Baseball".

    March 20, 1974, the death of Chet Huntley. It's ironic Newman says that Frank McGee will have something to say the next morning on the Today Show since McGee himself was dying of cancer and would be gone four weeks later.

      Eric, did the uploader of this video post any clips of "The $10,000 Pyramid" from CBS or ABC yet? It is such a shame Bob Stewart Productions wiped the tapes of their shows every two months, something they continued to do until June 1978. At least the "Jackpot!" clip was nice (6:20 point).

      There were many anchors before Hughes Rudd; Joseph Benti, Mike Wallace, John Hart and when Rudd took over from Hart in 1973, Sally Quinn from the Washington Post was his co-anchor
