I used to be an avid watcher of snooker in the 80's, but the players of today truly are in a different league altogether.

I am a Ronnie fan alright.....but.......you should had mention that shot from Williams against Hawkins when he potted that ball standing in the right middle pocket with a second red one as well. That one was a realy a hell of a shot IMO and it deserved to be in your TOP 50 ones. Thumbs up though for this compilation.

Can someone explain to me how this game is played?
first pot a red one, then a coloured one (red 1 point, black 7, pink 6, blue 5 etc.). The coloured one's get back on the table when potted. When there are no red one's left, the coloured one's get potted in order and not put back on the table. Who got more points wins the frame. If you make a foul the other player gets points (at least 4 or for example 7 if he played the black one instead of a red one).
If you can't pot the next ball you try to play a "safety" to position the white ball in a way so the other player is forced to make a difficult shot to even hit a red ball. This way you hopefully get an easy shot afterwards or even force the other player to a foul. (you see quite a bit of brilliant safeties played in this video)

For me He tried to pocket in the middle, but fail and get Lucky that cue Ball goes behind yellow kkkkk
It's how snooker is played, go for a pot on red while also making it safe by getting the cue ball on the side where the yellow is. If he potted it, then he was in position for the brown.
