I love how powerful she is, the sheer threat of her and what it forces others to resort to just in order to keep her at bay is what makes her such a great villain to me.
Dude imagine if they made the new Star Wars trilogy around Abeloth, set it in the far future, introduce a whole new cast (except for c3po and R2 of course, maybe introduce Lewbacca?) and she is destroying the galaxy with a special focus on anybody with Skywalker blood out of vengeance for the death of the children at Anakins hands, and her defeat at Luke’s, now she duels their descendant (meaning Luke and Mara Jade have canonically had children) I think the ending would probably need to be more impressive than another temporary defeat though. In the form of a movie trilogy I suppose the main Skywalker would have to save Abeloths soul or truly vanquish her. Or maybe not, it is Abeloth after all.
Funny, she was what kept the dark side (the son) and the light side (the daughter) from fighting, but in her quest to always be there to quell their conflicts, she became the embodiment of the conflict of the 2 sides of the force. And, in a way, she did complete her quest. The Light and Dark/Son and Daughter would always have to join to defeat her.
The force is prophetic like that. Anakin was born to balance the force, and did it by basically killing everyone on both sides. The force works in mysterious ways 😂
The Son and Daughter were balanced, it wasn't "Light and dark" as most understand it. The Son's whole Arc was him falling to the Dark Side in the first place. Before Anakin showed up and the Son was tempted to control him (so he could leave Mortis), the son merely represents the more passionate, offensive side of the force, whereas the Daughter is more reserved and defensive. Geetsly has a solid video explaining it. Just search up "Mortis Arc" and you'll find it.
Stupendous Wave: "I won't go into her backstory too much because I have covered it in a separate video, so ill do a short summary" Also Stupendous Wave: *goes into her backstory completely, basically covering the exact same thing as the abeloth video*
Yeah, this guy recycles so much content. He has literally lapped himself in videos. It's like he restarted, as if the previous videos don't exist. I still follow him and watch a video every now and then, but he is really lazy haha. Star Wars Explained isn't much better, because he has become a shill, and acts like a tool.
She became a monster seeking control and eternal life, its a completely warped view on love. I think of it more like jealousy, her decision to use both force nexuses to become a diety like her "family" gave her eternal life like she wanted, at the cost of losing her family, mind and sense of self.
There might be another way to kill Aboloth: Kill the force itself. If another Kreia like sith, or even exiled jedi, walked a path that was aimed at ending the force itself, effectively resetting it in the galaxy, culling all force-sensitive life, and freeing the galaxy of the axium of Jedi and Sith. In this new era, if the force was killed, Abeloth could be killed and in a funny way, kind of gratify Kreia's scheme.
But in the Star Wars universe the Force is what creates all life, so if you cut off the Force, life ends. Unless what Kreia meant was the physical Force which grants individuals the ability to tap into the Force, rather than the cosmic Force, then potentially. But I think you need both to sustain life.
@@nylereilly2637 From what I gathered, the force was a form of life, and in Kreia's perspective, parasitic, forcing entire planets to die in order to 'balance itself' Kreia ironically uses the OG trilogy as proof of this concept, predicting its events thousands of years in advance. Granted, this is her interprotation, but in Kotor 2 we see the exile is her example of what living without the force looks like: entirely self-sufficient. Abeloth would NEED the force, in the same way a tapeworm needs a living host. Or, better example, the flood need sentient life in halo:ce. Take her 'food source' and she'll starve, or in this case lose a great deal of power. Again, granted, both Kreia and Abeloth are more grounded in legends, and I don't see disney capitalizing on either without diluding them substantially like they did with Thrawn
@@prometheusvenom7189 "Probably", being the keyword. Never liked the "we need a special weapon to kill evil", trope. Plus, I just doubt that it would have actually killed her or not. Think you need something like the Whills to do it, and Abeloth is always growing stronger. Killing the Force, which would kill everyone, or cutting people largely off it should do the trick. She`s basically a Warhammer 40K level threat. She`s a Dark Side God. I think you would have to seal her up or banish her. which would more than likely be temperately, until someone could do it again. I would have kept her as basically the "Devil" of Star Wars. Having the writing killing her would be a waste. You can really play around with her. She could even be another reason why you shouldn`t fall to the Dark Side. She is a Dark Side entity and feeds off, and life, 24/7. Could be why we don`t "officially" have Dark Side Ghosts, because they get devoured. Like how Slaanesh eats Eldar souls as soon as they "pass away", unless you bind them to something. Which Dark Siders already do to their ghosts in Legends.
Would’ve made more sense to make an Abeloth sequel trilogy instead of the first order.. a threat as massive as abeloth rising again on the galaxy and we could’ve seen jedi and sith unite against a common foe. And it could obviously have massive horror movie styles and scenes. Sounds like a great idea to me.
@@niftymoth723stop moaning. If you hate Star Wars so much don’t watch it. Don’t make hating your whole personality. I think disney have made some greatest Star Wars and sucky stuff. Yin and Yang like George lucas before
@@lemonynora bro shut up I have my reasons for hating it and you have your reasons for liking it. Personally, I think I have a good taste for writing, but people like you constantly test my patience
You should go into the deeper theory connecting Abeloth with Wotzak. TLDR “the servant” was actually a fragment of the one celestial who refused to ascend with the others, who had her powers and memories stripped from her. Subconsciously she sought out her former glory and joined the Ones family. Then upon drinking and bathing in the force nexuses, she gained more power than she ever had before and remembered everything about what she had gone through.
I always argued that Snoke should've been written as an Abeloth like being in the sequels; perhaps not for the same backstory as the actual Abeloth. but he already had the look, the implied power in episode 7, and there must have been a reason he was stuck in the Unknown Regions for this long (perhaps he was trapped on Exegol), and a reason parts of the Unknown Regions should've stayed unknown.
I feel like she is nearly unkillable especially in the absence of the son and daughter. They were the only ones that she had a weakness to. I feel like no matter what to really even start to hurt her you would have to kill all her I guess clones or what ever you would term them as and then cut her completely off from the force and then stab her with the dagger, and then maybe she dies. Maybe not.
I still wonder if the Ones are truly dead for certain. They are said to be immortal beings, pure force entities that could go on to live for eternity if they wish. Even though the dagger is supposed to counter them, I feel like they are just too easy to exit the scene in such a simple manner. Is it possible that they are just serverely weakened and could ultimately resurrect themselves after thousands of years?
@@laisensei6984 I agree after all just a normal force user is extremely difficult to kill. I think the only one we actually see killed is Qui Gon. It could be possible that the Ones were just temporarily displaced into the force for a time, which would be some what interesting.
I think that at one time, she might have been her era’s Chosen One or friend. Like when the Ones brought not just the Chosen One, Anakin, but also both Obi-Wan and Asoka to their world, when the Father needed help. But, for whatever reason (probably since it was just her), the Ones, (probably Chosen Ones themselves at one point), did not choose to cede their role to her. IF that was the case with her? Then what would they have done with Anakin, Obi-Wan and Asoka, had the Ones not died? I really wish that they explored this storyline further…
@@damaskholdings9140 The Force has no side. It is both Light and Dark as we would define it, in balance. We choose which side to take. The Jedi, who serve the Force, were meant to maintain the greater balance, while staying true to the Light. Where as the Sith, who serve themselves, use the Darkside with the goal of achieving ultimate power by any means, even if that means causing all and out chaos. That’s the difference.
@@damaskholdings9140 I mean. That was part of this story-arch. Just as there is creation, there is destruction. Just as there is birth, there is death. Just as there is light, there is darkness. In the middle, there is life. While one aspect out weighs the other from time-to-time, they are naturally in balance. The Father is the balance. The Daughter is the positive aspects. While the Son represents the negative aspects. All three are the Force. We however, through our choices, our actions or inactions, can toss a wrench in this scheme and disrupt the natural order for a time, weighing it too heavily to one side. But, there must be balance. When the Father was tired, Abeloth, took over and for time, the Son and Daughter worked together, each complementing the works of the other. She served the purpose of the Chosen One, keeping the Balance. But that didn’t last. With the Jedi? They used to maintain the balance until about 5,000 years earlier. Since then, they spent 4,000 years fighting the Sith, followed by a 1,000 years of peace. As a result, they came to conflate the Balance with Peace, and Peace with politics and no Sith. And since the Sith being opposed to their position always resulted in war, they must be hunted down and eliminated. The concept of maintaining true balance was left for the Chosen One. And then their past efforts of mercilessly hunting the Sith down, caught up with them, and then the Sith. And there was balance, without anyone to maintain it except Luke who inherited his fathers role of the Chosen One. However, Abeloth has become chaos. And as long as she’s aware without anyone effectively serving the roles of the Father, Son and Daughter, things will remain in flux. If she succeeds, it would end more than 25,000 years of galactic civilization.
I believe there’s so much potential when it comes to Abeloth. Like she could be the basis for a whole new Trilogy or Animated Series (If done Properly) or even spawn a new Game Series. I feel the setting for this would mainly be a group going to different Ancient Worlds to try and find clues, or mentions to the Ones and they’re Race to find some hint on how they could kill Abeloth. And you could even make the start of the search back on Mortis to look for the Dagger. Plus for all we know Abeloth may have Cults all over the Galaxy that worship her as a God. So if you wanted that could be your main opposition in the Movies/Show/Games. And I could definitely see the Protagonists being either Students of Luke or some ragtag group who a Student Recruited volunteers for. This seems like a concept that’s being slept on so badly. But then again with the premise the New Disney Trilogy set I could see the difficulties that can arise with this.
She should be given a 2010s MCU-style build up to Thanos treatment before her appearance as the real BIG BAD in a future trilogy as the culmination of that entire story arc!
Once she gains a bit more traction in the mainstream nothing can stop rule 34. Like an event horizon you wonder too close and its impossible to escape.
I know the person she once was is Long Gone...Still if they do find a way to TRULY kill her, I hope she'll finally be able to be granted and find Peace.🙏😔
She sounds more dark side than light, despite using both fountains. Still, she's a fascinating entity. A few years ago, I wanted to see a movie or show with her as the primary antagonist, but these days I don't trust anyone to not screw her character up.
Because she partook of the font of power (dark side) before she partook of the wellspring of knowledge (light side), so that likely has to do with why she is the way she is.
@@Cha-Khia what about after she did the deed. That father took his children to another place? Being abandond after doin somthing she hoped would bring het closer to them would realy fuck a mind. Maybe her more evil side is coused by feeling abandoned.
That's probably why they wanted Anakin Skywalker just stay there with them because they knew that she would be breaking out within the next 50 years and they wanted him to train with them to stop her
I feel like the only way to kill abeloth would be with darth nilis and his force drain ability but then you have a whole different problem or by executing darth treya’s plan to wound the force so bad that it would ether kill you or cut you off from it.
I truly love these videos on the Ones of Mortis and Abaloth and I also like the idea that as powerful as they are not indestructible and that the Mortis Dagger can possibly kill them, even Abaloth herself.
She was the representation of chaos which was interesting because she didn’t want her subjects to die rather to just let them suffer and drink it all in.
I think that the mother could have successfully transcended if she wasn't consumed by fear which is a dark side emotion. That clashed with the pure light of the pool of knowledge and caused the imbalance that corrupted her. As well as not being strong enough in the force and being too weak physically and mentally. If she was balanced emotionally, mentally and in the force, younger and stronger in the ways I said earlier I think she would have at least gained immortality if not became like her family. I mean there have been quite a few instances of mortal force users pushing or even surpassing limits considered impossible for mortals except anakin so eventually somebody else will be born with or achieve power in the force great enough to withstand the well and pool, even if there is never a new chosen one. I mean with abeloth still around the force might need to create another chosen one to kill her or at least ensure that more people with increased force potential are born to keep her in check.
I think the way to truly kill Abeloth off once and for all is still through the use of the Mortis Blade. The blade will require a major charge up though, possibly through some force ritual or spell, or from soaking it in the fonts of power and knowledge itself.
to note luke beat a clone of abeloth, which doesnt even have 20 percent of her power, he also did it with someone on sidious power level, after her clone died she returned in her imprisoned body.
Full-powered Luke will NEED his father at full-power and many of the greatest Jedi Masters and Sith Lords at full-power by their side just to stand a chance to defeat Abeloth!
That is rather interesting. Great video by the way. However, there is still a thing I don’t quite understand. If we consider the prophecy about the chosen one true it means that the force strives to be in balance. So why does the force not create someone or something that balances Abeloth?
Well, two theories here. One, the force is technically in balance without creatinv an opposing force due to characters like Luke Skywalker being found in larger numbers than cgaracters like Abeloth, so it's moreso a quality vs quantity thing, or, it may have already, and we just never see the damn thing because it wouldn't be as interesting for that to be active in the world and just fighting characters like Abeloth for characters like Luke
Maybe because of her origin the force didn’t have a way of countering her. Like she was an unnatural creation, outside of what the force normally deals with. I mean she manipulated the force beyond what any other character could at the time. Wouldn’t be hard to believe she was outside the normal rules
besides what people already answered, unlike cannon, EU power scale is beyond the roof, Abeloth could be easily be an ultimate weapon created by the force, since SW is no stranger to god like/ dimension like beings, abeloth included, since she can create paralel realities.
A great take on the Lilith myth! ... it makes me think that when it was told that Anakin "would bring balance to the force", perhaps it's talking about his ability to heal and re-integrate Abeloth into her role as The Mother, with him as The Father, Asoka as the Daughter/Light, and... who as the Dark?
@@SteveCrafts2k Lillith and Sammael occupied the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve according to the Torah, which was ripped off by the Christians and heavily edited to become what is known as the Old testament of the Bible. Abeloth is a very fascinating charecterand true Villan in star wars legends, but if she was ever to be made Canon I really like the idea that she exists in the form of a legend. The charecter is never physically shown but exists like a star boogeyman. An urban legend/ old smugglers tale originating from the unknown regions of space. The legend of abeloth dating back tens of thousands of years
That would be a good way to start building her up in a cannon story arc, until her culminating appearance in a future trilogy that is the conclusion of said arc...
Some force of good Jedi should drink the pool of light like beer, then say, In the brightest day, in the darkest night, Let my ring shine the brightest light. When evil comes, I will join the fight, The power of the White Jedi, Is the strongest might! ”
I feel like if grandmaster could realistly bring all the Jedi that know wall of light to the showdow realm while she sleep and two things would happen, one luke in the tradition of not attacking a defenses opponents, more just of a sleeping opponents would use force light, now this is under the assumption that at some points before luke died he mastered technique and use it to increase is light side power and the power of his lightsaber so he could defend the students performing wall of light and stop any part of her from escaping. Once they use it most likely she'll awaken from the power and her slow lost of her darkside of the force and while she try to escape luke would put his full focus on her and his students making sure their safe while she can't escape. Now this is 100% going to be a slow process, because most likely, she has much more dark side power than the person wall force was use on first (sorry forgot his name)) but it be a much harder time separating the dark side from abeloth but considering is possible to completely separate her from the darkside however we will say it is and after way much time and if you want to believe some of the Jedi that came here die and using their will to phases in to the force and give their power to the other Jedi masters to full separate her and two things could happen one she still alive but with out any of her darkside influence the blind her potential having luke kill her as a act of good for the force and for redemption as she most likely join in to the cosmic force using the technique as she learn from the lightside of the force or two she just dead as the darkside was the the power keeping her alive after years pass is not impossible to think about as one of the old force light users actual killed a weak darkside user and wall of light is a amped version of it and number 2 the lightside only way to immortality was joining in to the comic force which she probably could as she knew everything thanks to the light or probably could not as she could just not have enough time like the Jedi that use it had time to actually join the force where with her she probably just spend all that time not to die but if is the ladder we might see her force ghost making Amen with the "ones" this will also happen with if she was still alive after she lost the darkside however I just wanted to get my point across but obviously there are a lot holes we simply don't know about and might not get since legends is over but that what I like to think would happen, my second scenario was about the same, but other than Luke waking her up, he instead joined them into using the wall of light to quick in the effect of for wall with his power however this has two effects one she can just use all of her powers to move or escape wall of light and two she can't just kill everyone but luke out side using the power she has left but that my thought on how luke would handle her or who knows maybe his son actually could do this with whatever masters were available and there was no wars at time they did I know luke was also super busy after his abeloth fight but I figured that after the war he finally settle her problem at his peak before he join the force but again this is my interpretation uuuh sorry for putting this long commit on here I'm saving in case you want me to take this down but just giving my thoughts on a great story
It would have been kinds cool to see Revan go through a similar revalation as Luke, taking on Abeloth. Or maybe Luke encountering a Revan Holocron, warning people about Abelototh.
why? There is no connection between Abeloth and Revan and there cannot be. Besides, Abeloth would crush Revan like a bug, he is nothing compared to Luke.
Abaloth is legit a force of nature (pun intended), and you can't kill a force of nature, plain and simple. She's like Star Wars version of a God of War/Chaos
while she is interesting to talk about, certainly not an interesting character. Godlike beeings are always a very bad sellong point. They either too strong for the plot or just causes powercreep that deflates the whole established powersystem.
@@Rambrus0 I see it more as a ever imposing existential threat. Like with Halo, during the first three games, the covenant were literally about to wipe the human species out. Also the flood, too. Having the odds totally out of the heroes favor but only with one chance, one item, or one hero with a special ability no one else has can turn the tide. Example being master chief for halo. The same applies here with Abeloth and the dagger. It might work, the dagger is all they have between total annihilation and saving the galaxy. This is what I find exciting!
She will NOT be defeated. She will be Transmuted back to her original form. She is, currently, a biproduct of corrupted and transmuted LOVE energy. She needs to have the dial turned back to the correct frequency of, LOVE. She will be saved by forgiveness and returned to her original form. At least that's how I'd write it...🤷🏽♂️💔🧟🌈❤️🧝🏼
The best possible way to test the dagger's effectiveness on Abeloth is the plan involving the dagger being wield by a Yuuzhan Vong or a force sensitive carrying Ysalamari. Have the attacker completely absent from the Force while she is distracted by other Jedi and Sith. Abeloth is already wickedly smart where she may already know about Ysalamari, but assuming Luke has thought about these ideas, he would probably have a holocron full of potential strategies to pass down through the order. Darth Krayt may be arrogant, especially when he controlled the galaxy, but knowing the threat Abeloth was, he probably would have kept this hypothetical holocron intact.
Thats so interesting that she was the mother of the Son and daughter of Mortis and was sucessful in preventing them fighting each other. Kinda feel sorry for her that she tried to stop herself aging but in the process became a monster..
Part of me thinks that she would've been the better villain for the sequel trilogy. Having both heroes and villains band together to fight a common cause gives me eye-gasms.
As much as I feel sorry for Abeloth, she is a Lovecraftian class world-ending threat. The Ones were right to be wary of her because if Abeloth ever gets out of her prison and was free upon the Galaxy, who knows what kind of damage she could cause. She could even escape the Galaxy to terrorize other Galaxies.
I’d think there could only be one possible way to kill Abeloth for good, and it would either be near or completely impossible. I would believe that the only way to destroy Abeloth is to destroy the very sources of her power’s origin. To destroy the Fount of Power and the Wellspring of Knowledge, then when her power is cut off for a time, the Dagger of Mortis can be used against her. Though I don’t even know if it could be possible to destroy the Wellspring and the Fount, though it is the only logical thing I can see. Though, we will more than likely never know, and I kind of hope we never do, Abeloth’s mystery is what makes her so terrifying.
I think that would be a good ending to her story. As for how to destroy the Wellspring and Fount, maybe a master of each side of the force is needed, one to corrupt and one to cleanse.
What's so funny about the Faunt of Power and the Pool of Knowledge is that both are intertwined. It is the exercise of knowledge that grants power. It is through individual power that one acquires knowledge. Without a powerful mind, one cannot acquire more knowledge. It is through wisdom that one can properly use their knowledge to gain power without consequence.
When reading this book series, I really thought Ben Skywalker & Vestara Khai were going to end Abeloth leaving Luke and Vestara's father dead, leading the way for Ben & Vestara to become the new Skywalker saga but alas it did not.
Oh.....another abeloth video. You know, Star Wars needs to expand on their lovecraftian horror lore. Like the end of Solo was SOOO good. More shit like that, and bring Abeloth and those Darkside space wraiths.
Just a thought but a wonder if severing her force connection is possible … I mean I’d take a proficiency of the highest or multiple force users to even be possible if at all
A good idea but most likely impossible to do because of the power advantages she has on her opponent's mainly Luke and Kreat if she can throw them around like puppets then I can't see them doing something like cutting her connection to the force.
She would be weakened but not enough for her to be killed it would take an army of extremely powerful Jedi to use that ability on her and even then she was stated to be more powerful than 12 Legends Grand Master Skywalkers so the army in question would have to be made up of very very powerful Force wielders
I literally wish she was the BIG BAD of the Sequel Trilogy instead of a recycled Palpatine! And Eva Green should be cast in the said role as she fits the bill perfectly (like how RDJ fit Tony Stark or Hugh Jackman fit Wolverine)! 🤣🤣🤣
The way I see it, the force needs to be aligned with life for the universe to function. Because the mother was mortal, she couldn't take the full might of both extremes of the force and it destroyed her. What was left was the combination of the polarities of the force untethered to life. At the end of the day, I see the force as possibility. It's entwined with life, yet seperate from it. It's subservient to it, yet eclipses it utterly. And when left unchecked, raw possibility inevitably leads to chaos and pandemonium. Even extremes of order can produce chaos, and since the Dark side is in the mix, every number multiplied by a negative becomes a negative itself. It's a personification of what is essentially the eldritch and mysterious force of life in (and beneath the skin of) the universe, but polarised then forced together again. Magnets are polar things. In the case of electromagnets, when the current passes a certain threshold, the magnet can literally tear itself apart.
I think that there is perhaps another way to permanently kill Abeloth. We know that the Force itself can be wounded and even destroyed to an extent so perhaps instead of trying to kill Abeloth directly the only way is to attack her source of power. After all all of her abilities, including her immortality, come from the Force so if a weapon or ritual could be created that annihilate the Force completely in a large enough area it could weaken her enough that she could be killed once and for all. The amount of collateral damage this would cause is hard to say but it could potentially be catastrophic so who knows if the cost is worth it.
As my knowledge of the Lore is not the greatest, I do not know if this for sure is possible...but I think a way to possibly beat Aboloth would require you to sever her connection with the Force. We know it can be done, it was done to Kraya and others. With her power stemming from the Force, your best bet would be to either sever it completely or block it on some way, like those creatures that Thrawn used to counter force users. If this could be done then there is a good possibility that she would just be reduced to dust and, without the power of the force at the time filling her mind with madness, there is a very good chance she might snuff out her own mind by accident, driven to unthinking ego death due to her mind realizing what she became and not being able to cope with it.
Abeloth drank from the lake of power. It’s a dark side source of power. She cannot be killed as such. You can only container her like the killecs did with center point station.
I wish this character would enter into Star Wars, such a tortured soul. If they actually work this into Star Wars movie/series, I pray they do her justice
power is dangerous unstable power more so but knowing how to use it at its full effects no matter how powerful you are?apocalyptic.remember it’s not just the weapons or tools it’s how you use them and unfortunately for the Star Wars galaxy she definitely not only has power but knows exactly how too use it.
Even though her ways of using it are not as methodical as that of Jedis and Siths! Imagine if she actually had the said methodical approach as they did?
Dark Dimension Vader is a 4th dimension character who is THE DARK FORCE ITSELF can wipe aboluth and that Sith god from existence (knowing aboluth and that Sith god only exists in 3rd dimension “our dimension”) , DDV is not a Soul or a Sith or even a god , he is THE DARK FORCE ITSELF , bro !
The maw isn’t in the deep core. It’s in the kessel run on the outer rim So basically any random person can go to her home planet, drink from 2 nexus’ and become as powerful as abeloth? Pretty scary concept if you really think about it. What’s stopping others from doing the same thing? I would undoubtedly do everything I could to travel to those nexus and become a powerful being myself.

@@evilartnboy yea, it would make it difficult, but a small ship can still get past them tho, I would think. It never was specific if it was truly impossible for a physical object to get past the maw or not. I don’t know if they keep abeloth locked away on that planet physically or for her immense force powers can’t break out of that area. If she could physically get out of her planet but didn’t have any ships on her planet and the maw kept her force power stuck as well, that’s one thing. But if the vast amount of black holes make it physically impossible to enter the planet, that’s another. I don’t know if you get what I’m saying or not. Without having a full visual image of the maw itself, it’s difficult to imagine the area she’s stuck in.
"This continued until The Ones were killed during the Clone War." You have no idea what you've unleashed here today. There are things far more terrifying than death.
I know this is a dumb question but couldn't the Father have a chance against Abeloth since I'm guessing he's both mixture of walking and living dark and light side of the force since he has a light side daughter and a dark side force son.
powerfull enough to force the sith and the jedi (luke and darth krait) to work together. could you do a video about how strong kraith was, or have you already done one?
I always envisioned that the Yuuzhan Vong could deal with Abeloth. The Yuuzhan Vong are said to be almost completely immune to the Force and have weapons and tech that even cancels it out. The Yuuzhan Vong would give Abeloth more than a run for her money.
They’re immune to non physical force attacks. Things like lighting and flinging boulders at them would still kill them. They just can’t be choked out or force pushed around. Nothing says you can’t use literal lightning and heavy objects against them lol
Please combine legends. With cannon, and cascade over everything already done. Greatest story teller for anything StarWars outside of Lucas in my opinion. Keep Going, Don’t look at Anyone
I always felt sorry for Abaloth. She didnt become a monster because she was Greedy or evil she became a monster because if love.
She's sort of a more extreme version of anakin
The road to hell is paved with good intentions…. The most horrific atrocities are often rationalized by thinking it’s for a good purpose
She became one to live eternity with her family, the ones.
The duality of love is one of the central themes of Star Wars. It brilliant in some ways.
The first "The One"?
I love how powerful she is, the sheer threat of her and what it forces others to resort to just in order to keep her at bay is what makes her such a great villain to me.
Abeloth always felt very weird to be part of Star Wars lore. She represents something so dark, eldritch horrific and lovecraftian…
And that's why we loved and miss legends, it took chances.
Please don’t remind me about Disney. I’d like to forget they own this property.
Dude imagine if they made the new Star Wars trilogy around Abeloth, set it in the far future, introduce a whole new cast (except for c3po and R2 of course, maybe introduce Lewbacca?) and she is destroying the galaxy with a special focus on anybody with Skywalker blood out of vengeance for the death of the children at Anakins hands, and her defeat at Luke’s, now she duels their descendant (meaning Luke and Mara Jade have canonically had children)
I think the ending would probably need to be more impressive than another temporary defeat though. In the form of a movie trilogy I suppose the main Skywalker would have to save Abeloths soul or truly vanquish her. Or maybe not, it is Abeloth after all.
She feels like a Resident Evil Final boss.
It’s space everything involving space related lore will be dark

😂😂
It's a known fact that this guy repeats himself a hell of a lot
Man couldn't help himself lol
Her story is heartbreaking, a lost soul who became a monster in the name of seeking peace and love
Sounds mighty familiar.
Probably the blade of mortis
So essentially the world we live in now would be an awesome side story to explore lol
I want a star wars horror movie so badly. I feel like an Abeloth movie would be awesome.

That's just abeloth's backstop. He explains it in the video
The ones aren't truly dead though, as their species has a way of doing the force ghost thing that normal species can't do.
Ain’t no way to defeat her other than a considerable force user power up

Abeloth: The most powerful being to exist
Vergil: hold my storm.
Abeloth is so powerful that even Rule 3 4 doesn't apply to her.
Do not test that being we call the internet

She sounds more dark side than light, despite using both fountains. Still, she's a fascinating entity. A few years ago, I wanted to see a movie or show with her as the primary antagonist, but these days I don't trust anyone to not screw her character up.
Because she partook of the font of power (dark side) before she partook of the wellspring of knowledge (light side), so that likely has to do with why she is the way she is.

I totally forgot that the Maw was created to imprison Abaloth. Apparently, I need to revisit Legends. Kinda glad I get to read about Piggy again.
I feel like the only way to kill abeloth would be with darth nilis and his force drain ability but then you have a whole different problem or by executing darth treya’s plan to wound the force so bad that it would ether kill you or cut you off from it.
You would have to go against the force. And it would most likely try to stop you
I truly love these videos on the Ones of Mortis and Abaloth and I also like the idea that as powerful as they are not indestructible and that the Mortis Dagger can possibly kill them, even Abaloth herself.
Welp... The dagger didn't fall out of the sky.
Something made it. Order another..or something
She was the representation of chaos which was interesting because she didn’t want her subjects to die rather to just let them suffer and drink it all in.
1:59 ...wow! I like this concept art of Abeloth! Those mandibles look awesome
Imagine if Anakin at his full potential drank from the font of power and bathed in the pool of knowledge.
Now that would make things interesting! 🤣🤣🤣
I’m learning so much from these videos! Thank you!
to note luke beat a clone of abeloth, which doesnt even have 20 percent of her power, he also did it with someone on sidious power level, after her clone died she returned in her imprisoned body.
Why is this not a movie yet ???🤔 because HOLY!
Somehow baylen is involved in this
I'm sorry, what myth?

I want to see more about Abeloth.
It’s sad because she made these changes out of a love and desire to be with her family.
Anyone here after episode 6 of Ashoka? 😅
I totally forgot that Anakin met the daughter, son and the father.
Thats so interesting that she was the mother of the Son and daughter of Mortis and was sucessful in preventing them fighting each other. Kinda feel sorry for her that she tried to stop herself aging but in the process became a monster..
She was their adopted mother not biological.
Part of me thinks that she would've been the better villain for the sequel trilogy. Having both heroes and villains band together to fight a common cause gives me eye-gasms.
I think she’s going to be in next season of Ahsoka. Ahsoka going to be the daughter probably.
Yes! She would be the ideal villain of the Sequel Trilogy, and Eva Green should be her in the films!
That’s speculative and not confirmed. Luke stated the only way to kill her was with the mortis dagger
5:38 every time i see this visual i think "walk like an Egyptian" 😂
What's so funny about the Faunt of Power and the Pool of Knowledge is that both are intertwined. It is the exercise of knowledge that grants power. It is through individual power that one acquires knowledge. Without a powerful mind, one cannot acquire more knowledge. It is through wisdom that one can properly use their knowledge to gain power without consequence.
When reading this book series, I really thought Ben Skywalker & Vestara Khai were going to end Abeloth leaving Luke and Vestara's father dead, leading the way for Ben & Vestara to become the new Skywalker saga but alas it did not.
She would’ve been a way more intimidating and interesting villain than Snoke and the Empire 2.0
I would have been okay if Palpatine/Snoke appeared in Episode VII only to be revealed at the end of the movie he was just an avatar of Abeloth! 🤣🤣🤣

Won't work. She has all the knowledge and power possible.
I feel like Alaboth should be known more to others.
she would definitely be stopped at SOME point, given how Legacy exists and Abeloth has basically no mention afaik
Could force light be used on her to try and weaken her connection to the force enough for the dagger to work? Or is she beyond that?
She would be weakened but not enough for her to be killed it would take an army of extremely powerful Jedi to use that ability on her and even then she was stated to be more powerful than 12 Legends Grand Master Skywalkers so the army in question would have to be made up of very very powerful Force wielders

So the Bendu represent how awesome the Tauren from World of Warcraft could become if they understood the Force?

Anyone think a thought bomb could kill her?
Very cool. Thanks.
Wow, amazing vid. Thx.
The last powerful thing in Star Wars lore before everything went to shit.
I mist Vestara Khai...
Imagine if we see her on the big screen!
Abeloth strikes me as a Star Wars version of some Lovecraftian horror like Cthulu or Yog Sothoth.
Thats because she is.
Would a Wall of Light defeat her? She is a dark side entity.
power is dangerous unstable power more so but knowing how to use it at its full effects no matter how powerful you are?apocalyptic.remember it’s not just the weapons or tools it’s how you use them and unfortunately for the Star Wars galaxy she definitely not only has power but knows exactly how too use it.
Even though her ways of using it are not as methodical as that of Jedis and Siths! Imagine if she actually had the said methodical approach as they did?
Very nice video enjoyed it big time 😮😊
Dark Dimension Vader is a 4th dimension character who is THE DARK FORCE ITSELF can wipe aboluth and that Sith god from existence (knowing aboluth and that Sith god only exists in 3rd dimension “our dimension”) , DDV is not a Soul or a Sith or even a god , he is THE DARK FORCE ITSELF , bro !
I've never been so scaroused!
Imo they should’ve used her as a main villain in sequel films.
You are far from alone man! And Eva Green would be the perfect fit for that role! 😊
He keeps saying Krillik when it's Killik.
The maw isn’t in the deep core. It’s in the kessel run on the outer rim
So basically any random person can go to her home planet, drink from 2 nexus’ and become as powerful as abeloth? Pretty scary concept if you really think about it. What’s stopping others from doing the same thing? I would undoubtedly do everything I could to travel to those nexus and become a powerful being myself.
That would be the blockade of black holes and the fact that aboloth is there
Maybe Abeloth is a guardian of the nexuses? Could be she’s awaken if anyone tries to get to the nexuses?
@@bradleynaffziger3200 she wasn’t the guardian. She was just a normal person. She might act as a guardian of sort now, as she’d be a deterrent for sure, but it’s not impossible to get there.
@@satan899 not impossible to get to the planet maybe but getting past Aboloth most certainly is if you do make it to the planet.
"This continued until The Ones were killed during the Clone War."
You have no idea what you've unleashed here today. There are things far more terrifying than death.
I know this is a dumb question but couldn't the Father have a chance against Abeloth since I'm guessing he's both mixture of walking and living dark and light side of the force since he has a light side daughter and a dark side force son.
An adaptation of her in a Star Wars game would be lit
She needs to be canon. Idc what Disney says
Imagine the story of the Mother's corruption told in the form of a 1980s body horror film
she cleary hasnt met Rey then, i'd give Rey 10 seconds to match her power and beat her.
powerfull enough to force the sith and the jedi (luke and darth krait) to work together. could you do a video about how strong kraith was, or have you already done one?
I always envisioned that the Yuuzhan Vong could deal with Abeloth. The Yuuzhan Vong are said to be almost completely immune to the Force and have weapons and tech that even cancels it out. The Yuuzhan Vong would give Abeloth more than a run for her money.
Luke's lightning bolts could have killed them intentionally, they don't pose a threat to Abeloth
The Morris dagger probably would work, it would only make sense
