Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, especially the CSX locomotives in Chehalis, Washington, adorable birds in Deshler, Ohio, the Heritage Units, and so much more, I like them all, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.

Ooh, I loved that ending--the Hesperia meet was also great. The night footage in Rochelle was beautiful, and of course I loved that beautiful dove and all of the starlings and sparrows. But what the heck was up with the rubber chicken?
4:38 That blue and pink color scheme on the locomotive looks like the old Florida East Coast (FEC) color scheme, the old 4-axle locomotives, still in use today.
If you are referencing the lead loco at 4:38 the picture quality is masking its true colors! That is the paint scheme used on the original EMD SD70 AC electrical loco fleet (believe it was 3 or 4 hundred strong) to BN when they really ramping up the production of the Powder River Basin coal field and is still in its original (I think) scheme. The locos were given a special new paint scheme of a VERY dark green (just about what the classic KCS scheme has that looks black but isn't) and a "creme" (not white) color. If I recall the green was referred to as "Grindstein Green" after the BN president at the time.
Hey virtual Railfan, I just had one question it's pretty off topic but it's just something I was curious about. Whenever I see people controlling or moving the cameras how are they doing that? Is it through a private app or website, or is it something else? Just curious.
I guess I underestimated just how much of a mess the K&O can make when I said a few weeks ago that they need to file an environmental impact statement when they run their Old Smokey engine but this is ridiculous. Maybe the K&O is the Pig Pen Line??
@@frankrosenbaum3471 Yes it was coming from the top of the grain car pulled by one of the K&O diesels. But I don’t think it was Old Smokey on this run as Old Smokey smokes almost as bad as the hopper car leaked its material. I’ve watched coal trains nearly all my life & they don’t make this kind of mess. It seems to indicate a lack of attention to the equipment or cargo.

6:00 I was thinking the same thing every one of you was thinking (don't deny it, you know you were) when I first saw "do not hump." Knowing it did not mean that, I had to look it up and then it made perfect sense, but it is still funny to think of what part of the car a guy would hump. Probably some part of the coupler. LOL

I caught the meet at Hesperia live and couldn't believe how cinematic it was. Just wow!
Cinematic, great descriptive word for it! We are so fortunate to have that spot.
That song at the end! Sent chills up my spine! "Dessert Whispers" by Tellsonic is a great song!

It was grain spilled on the top of the hopper that was getting blown away
