I have a questions Banks requires SOC 2 from their vendors to access their risk posture to their organization (I am refering to the bank here as organisation)if they are high medium or low … so my questions is that for the vendors to be comfortable doing business with banks or any other company do they also request SOC 2 report from the banks to assess their security posture as well?
Yes they can ask for the same.. and you also need to check whether that vendor is sharing their own data with bank or not.. if vendor is not sharing anything with bank then bank may deny to provide the report
What requirements are needed for a consultancy firm to start Soc2 as a service? For example is it mandatory to become CPA verified? So other companies will take your consultancy for their SOC audit.
