Unusual to see him eatting snacks in the corner while inside. He's usually at the door. He's so Zen today. He's taking little bites of that Apple like he wants to savor ever moment of it before it's gone. Which snack does Jin Hu love the most carrots or apples?
Just curious..a bear in the wild would normally keep their claws from being overgrown climbing trees, etc. Do panda claws ever have to be clipped if they are in captivity? I guess I'm am thinking or comparing my question to a dogs NAIL care. If they become overgrown & not clipped they can be painful. But regular walks keep my pooch's nails under control with less need to clip. I just was observing the size of his claws on his feet. They are looking quite long. I guess I'm interested in knowing what other kind of health maintenance is done on caring for the Panda beside their special diet. Same with Jin Hu's teeth also. Looks like he has tartar build up.
He has many trees, rocks, etc. in his yard that he climbs. So if climbing trees and rocks etc., is what keeps wild panda claws from growing too long the same applies here.
Jin Hu is having lots of interaction with different people today or at least on the video for us to see. What was the young man saying to him....please?
