Very nice factory building. Here some tips, that may help with lag later on: always try to prevent item entities spilling. The millstones should at least run at double the speed of the drills, otherwise cobblestone will clock up over time. Can wait to see your next projects.
For those cases when you need the shaft to spin the same way incoming as outgoing, instead of stacking gearboxes have a look at the encased chain drive. Will also let you rotate them swap horizontal/vertical rotation. Super handy to have when you want to make things a little more compact.
@@BlockdownBuilds hah! I posted JUST before you slapped them down on the fans, not a lot of people use them but they really come in handy certain situations. As well, as you move forward making contraptions and farms, to see how much power (SU) you have from your water wheels/windmills/steam engines and how fast things are going, grab yourself some goggles and pop them in your curio slot. Will help with not overdoing it with the power (not that more wheels don't look great, but helps with lag as you start making things more dense.)
There is something both heartwarming and frustrating seeing someone learn Create for the first time, haha! But for a first try, bloody well done! So happy to have another Create creator on the platform!
If you want to make your farm more efficient, if you put 9 nuggets into a basin, they can be pressed directly into ingots! This is pretty easy to automate too, as once 9 nuggets are in the basin the press will go down. The only obstacle is metering the nugget input into the basin - on my own world I used a brass funnel.
Thank you for showing the mess-ups. It's really nice to see the process! I really love the factory and those doors! Aahhh! Thank you so much for the video! Have a good week!
Hey Blockdown love this series so far! Have you ever considered doing a q&a or just have a video telling us about yourself or your life? I love your videos and your my favorite Minecraft creator so it would be really cool to learn more about you! Only if you want to ofc, keep up the good vids!
I have done a q&a before in the 1.18 let's play series! There is a playlist on the channel you should be able to find :) And who knows, maybe there will be an updated q&a for a milestone!
Excited for this series! A few tips: Add a basin with a press on top to automate nuggets into ingots. Add soul fire in front of encased fans to "haunt" items. This is how you can make soul sand, which can be washed for quartz and gold.
Hey get the wast stone mod si when you build things far away from your starter house so it's easy to travol, never used it but i have watched Mr Beardstone create series.
Make a wrench for create, makes building easy. Also u can make keys to see how much items its in a draw and also lock the space for a item. Great video
some washing advice, the time it takes to process scales for every 16 items its processing in the stack. so if you drop 1-16 items it takes the same amount of time, 17-32 is longer but the same as each other etc etc. when it comes to belts, it can wash multiple slots on the belt simultaneously without them affecting each other as far as time goes, so if you throw a stack of 16 on the belt, then 16 more in the slot behind it, all 32 items will still only take the base amount of time. also you can set up the fan so its facing against the direction of the belt, and wash it as its moved into the wind, with just one fan. im a diehard create fan and watching you learn all the things i already learned is very entertaining, keep it up Blockdown
Also, if the chute is directly next to the belt instead of one block down, the item is placed directly into the chute instead of being popped off and falling. you can also stack chutes on top of each other to make longer chutes
What a cool mod! Congrats on your first farm/automation! The granite addition looks so nice. I love those alloy doors? The folding ones. The expanded villages are great. I can't wait for the next episode!!
Thank you for letting us follow along when you figure the mechanics out, showing both mistakes and progress. So fun! I think the granite and third stone variant did wonders for the build, it turned out so cool!
Great series so far. If you were able to get those belts moving faster, would it generate more flint and iron? (Faster?) Loved watching this episode! Keep em coming!
small map tip: when you hover over a pixel/block on the map on the bottom it says what block/liquid it is amongst the other information like coordinates, helps when you're looking for specific things like lava to make sure it isn't just some orange structure that generated (had that happen before lol)
Tip time! - Get A Wrench - Maybe then Get Engineer Goggles. - You can use belts to increase belt lengths, you can use a wrench to reduce belt length. - Encase fans will always wash/smoke/haunt/smelt at the same speed regardless of speed. increased speed just increase distance of "work" - Chutes are NOT hoppers, they will take for inventories but not from broken blocks above it. They also can take items off of belts above them. - Placing a fan face up below a Chute can create an air elevator for items. these items can also then go through and land on belts. - Water Wheels work in Lava! No fire haserd - Brass versions of all items normally allow for stacks and filters. If you want, I would be happy to send you my schematics for a mass washing set up, does roughly a stack of items in 1 second. its Schematic Cannon Ready!
With the encased fan you can also smelt things without fuel by putting lava in front similar to washing :) Be careful though! If you leave the item to smelt for too long it can burn up and disappear! But definitely a better way to super smelt rather than burning coal or lava buckets, quicker too!
adding on! lava lets u blast things like a blast furnace does, if you want to cook food you can use a campfire to replicate the function of a smoker as well, since blasting will just destroy the food items
Hello, i see that you have FTB chunk loading mod, it is the small map in the left corner, you can force load chunks, and the farm will work when you are looting or searching for something like 4000 bloks away. Keep up the good work!
Also you can tunnel the nuggets in a compacting drawer and it compact the nuggets in ingots and block forms and you can choose what to take out to use 😊
I don't know if you'll see this but i believe if you put a chest next to your saw when cutting down trees the chest will collect all the items from the chopped tree if you don't want to look for the tree when cut down
Hey, I am a new subscriber but I have played this modpack so I have noticed that in the market place there are diamond boots at the armour stall. PS: Love your videos
Since you have a bunch of exposed shafts i assume you don't know, but you can just rightclick them with a casing block to hide them incase you dont want them to show
@@BlockdownBuilds Create can even make working with villagers interesting. I once made a villager vending machine that let me cycle through villagers, expose them to a zombie as desired and use Create’s fluid dispensing to shower zombie villagers with a tiny bit of weakening potion for more efficient potion usage (only needed a millibucket of potion to weaken the villager) But quick tip - the Create cushions can be used to hold villagers/mobs in place (they sit on it like they do with boats), and can be pushed with pistons or any other method of moving blocks. So Create can aid in villager management as well.
I can't believe I managed to make this thing work, I'm even surprising myself! 😂

Hey you should use a rotational speed controller. 10:01
You should powder the things like funnels, tunnels and make some brass
There is something about the way that the create mod is made
that allows all different types of minecraft players play it.
Definitely an amazing mod, so many possibilities and just fits Minecraft so well!

Dang it, Blockdown Now I want to try my hand at Create! Loving this series.

Looking good! Just found your channel. The flint can be compacted down into blocks that I think would make for really nice roofs.
Thanks for the tip!
Woot!!! This is the best day ever! The return of the Legend that is Blockdown!!!

You could get a minecart contraption to help with collecting all the logs after cutting down a tree because if it has a storage it'll collect the logs
gotta love the creepers 🤣
No I bloody don't!
Yes!! Finnaly!! Si glad this came out watching it now
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@BlockdownBuilds definitely did! Awesome series so far!
FYI you can flood the drills.
create mod played by a talented builder? HECK YEAH!

Fun series, doesn't one get more power from the water wheels if more water is in contact with the wheel? Any way great episode. ❤
Great point! I'm really not sure! Might have to test that one out!
I’m pretty sure that has changed along the way in Create, so it’ll depend on which version of Create is being used.
This series is good but pls continue the 1.20 series as well. Build a castle in it pls

Ok so judging by the video name we’re building a factory to create more iron factories right?
Yes 🤔
More please!
Now you need to build some windmills for more power!
Oooo windmills are going to be fun!
@@BlockdownBuilds and steam engines but they are for the late game
If you switch out the drawer containing the iron nuggets for a compacting drawer, you can skip the crafting process for ingots and blocks.

Create tip! There is a block called a speed controller that does exactly what it says in the title.
Speed up the controls... Got it! 👍
Heyyy, you can waterlog drills!!!!!
yay
❤
More create mod!🎉
Woohoooo
use the extra flint to trade for emeralds
Firstly, create a wrench that can allow you to rotate create stuffs😅
I really need to I know 😭
Encased chain drives are better than cogs as they can change rotational drirection
Thanks for the tip!
I learned the magic of Speed Controllers so I dont have to use 6 cogs to speed things up lol
Yea but it's pretty late game which is why most farms use multiple cogs to speed up instead
First you vids are so good man
Glad you like them!

i would pay you actual money for these create schematics!!!!!!
Good Morning from 🇵🇭
Morning!
9:28 NOTHING is stopid
Check out steel girders for details and supports.
Ooo will do thank you!
Me watching this realizing i couldve made my farm a bit more compact like urs😂
BTW the seagull took your rottenflesh
Pesky thing
Make a wrench 🔧 it would be very much too much useful
Thanks for the idea!
Why u didn't make speed controler, that will helping
Because I'm an idiot and have no idea what I'm doing 😂
you only need 1 fan not 8 blowing water on the gravel
is this series still ongoing ?
