The Kikoho literally drains life force to magnify a ki blast (or that's how I always interpreted it). Tien going all out in DBZA is in my top 5 overall DBZ moments canon or not. Almost to 10k! Not sure if anyone suggested it yet, but now that you are done with the Freeza Saga you should look up the Abridged version of the abridged season called DragonBall Z Kai Abridged. Basically a full recap in about 8 minutes with some redone things to make it funnier. They have one for the first two sagas as well as for the androids/cell sagas and a few in between. Worth a look as kind of a filler between episodes.
Well, to answer how Durable Cell Probably is, he does have Frieza and Possibly King Cold DNA and Frieza Survived being cut in half and an arm chopped off, being blown the fuck up by Goku AND Survived a Planet Exploding that he was likely laying on the surface of unconscious from said being blown up by Goku.
Team Four Star did Tien more justice than all of Z and Super ever did, and they did it in one scene. Here is where he had his best lines, and that last ounce of defiance when he *truly believed* Cell was about to kill him, buying every second he could manage, knowing he was basically doing no damage and would be completely helpless. Toriyama should take notes on how to do a character justice after basically Worfing them for a whole series (Worfing refers to the TV Trope 'The Worf Effect'. It happens when a character is said to be very strong, or shown to be very strong, and to make a new character a threat, they throw the strong character in and have the bad guy basically use them for a warm up, if they bother to put in *that much* effort).
