I've watched these reviews a few times now, and I JUST realized you (obviously, in hindsight) filmed these back to back, because after that, "Skippy toss," I clearly heard it collide with the kidney bean (musical fruit) can! 😂😂 I have no idea why that's funny but it is! What's funnier is watching these reviews while simultaneously owning all these figures!! 😂😂 I keep them in Devastator mode though, so this is how I remember what their robot modes look like! 😂😂
Was about to throw down on the NBK Constructicons but remain glad that I didn't once I saw these coming out. They are glorious and I can't wait to get them.
How do these scale compared to the Siege/Earthrise figures? I have Jetfire, and would like to get this Devastator due to it matching well size-wise, but I hope that the individual characters aren’t towering over Megatron and Optimus like crazy.
I still say Toyworld's Devastator is the best one out of all the 3rd party Devastators. TFC's was good for its time, if you bought the Rage of The Hercules add-on set.
I only have the generation toy version now, ordered it before I knew there was a JinBao one. (I'm a few years late to the party) I have the JinBao one on the way. I've only transformed 3 of the figures.........damn it's enjoyable though!
I don't know if it's been said enough. But the Combiner Wars version of Mixmaster is based on the type of cement truck used in states like Nevada; it's a front-(un)loading cement truck. Those Gee-Wun purists need to chill. For rillz.
Great review. Only issue i found with mix master is the grey peg that keeps the legs in is really sensitive, broke one already! Luckily glued back however i now display out of the pegs and it still stands well 👍🏻

Been interested in these because of your reviews. However the quality concerns me, especially the thinner plastic on Scrappers scoop connection brackets as it's part of the foot. And I've read several people comment that Mixmasters barrel feels like shampoo bottle plastic. Also apparently the forward ratchets added to some of the hips have huge range beneath the teeth. Is this true?

It's really very simple, Shockwave. Megs is extremely cheap and the Constructicons work for way less than minimum wage.
