Tip if you have a ugly dresser :) If you have enough room in your closet shove it in there! I have a giant dark brown and black dresser and the tinyest closet and I got it in!
for me i share with my brother,when we moved in into our apartment we didnt have anything to separate ourselves. Luckily my dad got one of those big ikea shelves to separate us so i do get to make my side of the room to my liking!

you could paint your furniture! Another option is tile furniture diys. I really like them but my furniture is fine the way it is lol so I won’t do it but if you do lmk how it went!

I can't pit holes in my wall because my wallpaper is "new" (it's literally peeling off of the walls but okay.) And none of my tape is strong enough to hold up my stuff. I also always bag my parents for comment hooks but they always say no. Finally, we can't afford to redecorate my room, so it cutlrrently has a bunch if brown and orange colors when that's not what I want. Help please. ❤

My room’s furniture can’t be rearranged just because it is sticked to wall, and also I have a foldable in the mid of the room which makes it so difficult to decorate the room. And also as an indian, parents don’t understand why is room decor imp, but I am lucky that after 8 months they allowed me to do it with adequate amount of money and no painting.
your room dosnt have to be white! my walls are blue (we painted them a pretty baby blue bc i wanted them blue lol love it tho) if u have purple walls, yellow walls, green walls who cares! just get contrasting colors that compliments them like white or a paste green color!
My biggest problem is that i have a ton of old stuff my grandma gave me that i feel bad getting rid of but it looks really ugly so i have nowhere to put it and it just clutters my room 😓
oh I totally understand :s do you actually wanna use it or have it in your room? if you don't, you could consider putting it away in a closet or the attic (if you have one)? of course you don't have to get rid of it but if you don't like it's okay to put it away :)

I mostly put the things away, in the attic or in boxes. you can get cute storage spaces where you can put them in. if you don’t have enough space I’d recommend just cleaning out your room and get rid of other stuff you can afford giving away, that way you’ll have more room to leave other stuff like your dolls! and maybe you could ask your parent/guardians if they maybe have a good storage space for it. maybe they can put it away in their closet for example :) I hope this helps!

if you wanna change it bc you don’t like it anymore you should just try it, you never know if it’s gonna look good but you can always change what you don’t like. it’s always kind of a risk I guess :) and before you’re gonna change if, make like a pinterest board with tons of ideas and you’ll get a better idea of the things you want
or maybe you can't paint the walls bcs your family is renting the house and the landlord won't let you paint... and also some families may not work like just-keep-asking-and-your-parents-will-eventually-give-in... just some suggestions

My walls arent painted, they're basically sage green wallpaper with some green vines on it (Kinda proud of it, since vines are aesthetic) The thing is, i can't really add any of those wall collage pictures to make them stay on the wall, i could use like those blue stickers to attach them. My plan is to match the wallpaper aesthetic, so a lot of sage green and also white, since the wall trims are white in my room.
that sucks! I also had to buy new ones when I painted my wall. you could still try to cover it up and paint carefully around it. or maybe you could buy dubblesided tape, that way you can just take it off and when your done painting, but it back with the tape!
Tip: if your walls are a certain colour and can’t paint it you can choose that colour for your room aesthetic. Example: if your room is painted yellow you can put pastel yellow pictures on the walls and paint small pots in yellow colour and put lights😉 Hope this helps😊
I know just changing your blankets on your bed to more your colors and such can really help, also putting drawings/pictures/posters on your walls, changing up the arrangement of your room can really help, etc. Cool vid btw!

@@cvnmmx5917 I understand, that's not always easy :( I actually bought a wall collage kit with like 50 pictures that all have the same theme and go very well together! if you can I'd look into that, you can find some examples in this video: th-cam.com/video/fpGw-kxNZ18/w-d-xo.html . if you wanna print them out yourself I'd search on pinterest and type in something like 'pink aesthetic pictures'. or look for your aesthetic, so if your aesthetic is indie, you can look for 'indie aesthetic pictures' and try a lot of different things like that. as long as you have 'aesthetic' in it and the vibe you kinda want, you should find it. last tip, if you see a picture you really like, look beneath it, it shows you pictures that are more related to the one you clicked on. hope this helped :)

This is VERY VERY VERY x10000000000 long but it has some useful advice. They're just things I find useful, there is two parts. Scroll to see the name of the parts in case you're interested. *DO NOT HAVE TO READ* Part one - Sharing rooms Okay so basically, if you're going through renovations in a house you've been in for a long time or you're/have moving/moved to a house that looks really ugly on the inside that needs renovations (like me - have moved) then take that to your advantage. It was really hard at the start because we had to peel all the wall paper off and add some fake walls and extend some things and remove cabinets, old bathtubs, carpets etc. Usually, of this is the case then you will be more likely to chose the colour of your walls, and, if your parents dont have bad taste, you will be able to get nice carpets. I share a room with my 4 year old sister, who is turning 5, the best thing to do about bed covers to make it less childish is to get the same bed covers then just put loads of teddies on your little sister/brothers bed. My little sister prefers no teddies and only gets one or two out for bed and puts them back in her storage for teddies in the morning. Now I am lucky for that but maybe you just need to talk things over with your sibling, I have way too many siblings so I'm used to doing this. Another thing is to style your bed in a way that looks really neat, as for me, the theme of my room is light blue, grey, dark grey, white and black. Use colours that compliment each other on your bed. Make sure you do your bed every morning. Now, if you have a ugly desk or bookshelf that needs painting, you will less likely to be able to have it done in a fully finished house. As I said, take renovations to your advantage because then you are likely to be able to paint them after all the hard work is done. Basically, I have a wardrobe thats like in the wall. Not everyone will have one of those. But it doesn't matter what wardrobe you have as long as you keep it tidy. Thats another step. Not much but it helps keep more space for the clothes that may accumulate around your room. If you have draws, just keep them folded. Now another thing for rooms (doesn't matter if your doing renovations) is that you can put fairy lights and fake ivy up on your walls, since this is most likely a permanent thing, then that is something that your parents might allow to cover your walls. If you share a room with a boy, who minds fairy lights , then get LEDS, you can just change the colour to white or a colour that compliments your room then it will still look really nice. Put plants in you room, they can be fake or real. It adds a nice look to your room. And lastly, keep your bookshelf clean and tidy and make sure to vacuum every now and again. You do not have to be in renovations to do most of these things if you are a lucky child. Part 2 - Single rooms In around 2 years, when we're doing MORE renovation work to get an upstairs, I will have my own rom (FINALLY). Now, I'm going to choose a different colour palette with the light blue *MAYBE NEW ONE*. My little sisters will be having the beds that me and my sibling are currently using, so if you're in this situation then read this. I might be getting my old day bed that I still really like back, but since I will be 14 when I have my own room, my parents said I can get a new bed if I grow out of it. Now, you could get a double bed (if you know what I mean, queen sized bed or whatever, idk what they're called). It takes up unused space and helps if you want to keep your room minimal. Dont have too many desks around or books lying on your side draw. If possible, get some candles and maybe a rug. Make sure your desk is a comfort area, currently I have a tiny desk but when I'm 14 I will need to study more often so I'll be getting a new one. Bigger desks help because then your pc/laptop or both wont get in the way and you can have more study space and places to put studying things. Put fluffy/normal pillows on your desk chair. It makes you feel more comfortable while gaming or studying. Keep a draw dedicated for study things. Getting boards that hang (you know those small boards that you can get and you can put pictures on them and hang the board up somewhere). Mash styles that you like together. Lastly, dont think you need to buy all those aesthetic things when you dont, just use things at home. Tip: You can mash both parts together because being in a single room doesn't mean you can only do those things, you can do them in shared rooms. Tip 2: Get a job if you're old enough or when you're old enough because you can buy things for your room without having to ask your parents for anything.
you should look into organizer boxes, i find that that really cleans it up! even with a messy drawer i think it is more organized when it’s in boxes :)
I sleep alone but I still have my bunk bed because I have way to many stuffies. If you have pillows/stuffies then just decorate and position them into a position you like! If your bunk bed is near the wall I put more stuffies near the wall so they can balance nicely. Just from my experenice.

or maybe you can't paint the walls bcs your family is renting the house and the landlord won't let you paint... and also some families may not work like just-keep-asking-and-your-parents-will-eventually-give-in... just some suggestions

My walls arent painted, they're basically sage green wallpaper with some green vines on it (Kinda proud of it, since vines are aesthetic)
The thing is, i can't really add any of those wall collage pictures to make them stay on the wall, i could use like those blue stickers to attach them. My plan is to match the wallpaper aesthetic, so a lot of sage green and also white, since the wall trims are white in my room.
I can't paint my bright blue walls because I have led lights
that sucks! I also had to buy new ones when I painted my wall. you could still try to cover it up and paint carefully around it. or maybe you could buy dubblesided tape, that way you can just take it off and when your done painting, but it back with the tape!

Tip: if your walls are a certain colour and can’t paint it you can choose that colour for your room aesthetic.
Example: if your room is painted yellow you can put pastel yellow pictures on the walls and paint small pots in yellow colour and put lights😉

I know just changing your blankets on your bed to more your colors and such can really help, also putting drawings/pictures/posters on your walls, changing up the arrangement of your room can really help, etc. Cool vid btw!

@@cvnmmx5917 I understand, that's not always easy :( I actually bought a wall collage kit with like 50 pictures that all have the same theme and go very well together! if you can I'd look into that, you can find some examples in this video: th-cam.com/video/fpGw-kxNZ18/w-d-xo.html . if you wanna print them out yourself I'd search on pinterest and type in something like 'pink aesthetic pictures'. or look for your aesthetic, so if your aesthetic is indie, you can look for 'indie aesthetic pictures' and try a lot of different things like that. as long as you have 'aesthetic' in it and the vibe you kinda want, you should find it. last tip, if you see a picture you really like, look beneath it, it shows you pictures that are more related to the one you clicked on. hope this helped :)

hahahah i get that. something that helps is tidying up at the end of the day or week, that way the mess doesn’t build up and become too much haha. you could set a repeated alarm so you don’t forget!

This is VERY VERY VERY x10000000000 long but it has some useful advice. They're just things I find useful, there is two parts. Scroll to see the name of the parts in case you're interested.
*DO NOT HAVE TO READ*
Part one - Sharing rooms
Okay so basically, if you're going through renovations in a house you've been in for a long time or you're/have moving/moved to a house that looks really ugly on the inside that needs renovations (like me - have moved) then take that to your advantage.
It was really hard at the start because we had to peel all the wall paper off and add some fake walls and extend some things and remove cabinets, old bathtubs, carpets etc.
Usually, of this is the case then you will be more likely to chose the colour of your walls, and, if your parents dont have bad taste, you will be able to get nice carpets.
I share a room with my 4 year old sister, who is turning 5, the best thing to do about bed covers to make it less childish is to get the same bed covers then just put loads of teddies on your little sister/brothers bed. My little sister prefers no teddies and only gets one or two out for bed and puts them back in her storage for teddies in the morning. Now I am lucky for that but maybe you just need to talk things over with your sibling, I have way too many siblings so I'm used to doing this.
Another thing is to style your bed in a way that looks really neat, as for me, the theme of my room is light blue, grey, dark grey, white and black. Use colours that compliment each other on your bed. Make sure you do your bed every morning.
Now, if you have a ugly desk or bookshelf that needs painting, you will less likely to be able to have it done in a fully finished house. As I said, take renovations to your advantage because then you are likely to be able to paint them after all the hard work is done.
Basically, I have a wardrobe thats like in the wall. Not everyone will have one of those. But it doesn't matter what wardrobe you have as long as you keep it tidy. Thats another step. Not much but it helps keep more space for the clothes that may accumulate around your room. If you have draws, just keep them folded.
Now another thing for rooms (doesn't matter if your doing renovations) is that you can put fairy lights and fake ivy up on your walls, since this is most likely a permanent thing, then that is something that your parents might allow to cover your walls. If you share a room with a boy, who minds fairy lights , then get LEDS, you can just change the colour to white or a colour that compliments your room then it will still look really nice.
Put plants in you room, they can be fake or real. It adds a nice look to your room.
And lastly, keep your bookshelf clean and tidy and make sure to vacuum every now and again.
You do not have to be in renovations to do most of these things if you are a lucky child.
Part 2 - Single rooms
In around 2 years, when we're doing MORE renovation work to get an upstairs, I will have my own rom (FINALLY). Now, I'm going to choose a different colour palette with the light blue *MAYBE NEW ONE*. My little sisters will be having the beds that me and my sibling are currently using, so if you're in this situation then read this.
I might be getting my old day bed that I still really like back, but since I will be 14 when I have my own room, my parents said I can get a new bed if I grow out of it. Now, you could get a double bed (if you know what I mean, queen sized bed or whatever, idk what they're called). It takes up unused space and helps if you want to keep your room minimal.
Dont have too many desks around or books lying on your side draw.
If possible, get some candles and maybe a rug.
Make sure your desk is a comfort area, currently I have a tiny desk but when I'm 14 I will need to study more often so I'll be getting a new one. Bigger desks help because then your pc/laptop or both wont get in the way and you can have more study space and places to put studying things.
Put fluffy/normal pillows on your desk chair. It makes you feel more comfortable while gaming or studying.
Keep a draw dedicated for study things.
Getting boards that hang (you know those small boards that you can get and you can put pictures on them and hang the board up somewhere).
Mash styles that you like together.
Lastly, dont think you need to buy all those aesthetic things when you dont, just use things at home.
Tip:
You can mash both parts together because being in a single room doesn't mean you can only do those things, you can do them in shared rooms.
Tip 2:
Get a job if you're old enough or when you're old enough because you can buy things for your room without having to ask your parents for anything.
OK so I have alot of stuff and can't fit it all in my room so it's really messy and icant make it look aesthetic
you should look into organizer boxes, i find that that really cleans it up! even with a messy drawer i think it is more organized when it’s in boxes :)

I sleep alone but I still have my bunk bed because I have way to many stuffies. If you have pillows/stuffies then just decorate and position them into a position you like! If your bunk bed is near the wall I put more stuffies near the wall so they can balance nicely. Just from my experenice.
Some landlords charge more if you hang stuff on your walls and the parents don’t wanna pay extra
