Hi, I just want to copy the directory C:\Docs in to D:\Backup\ (Do I need to specify "Docs" in the destination?) If I use robocopy or xcopy, it just dumps the contents of Docs into Backup. In Linux it creates a copy of the directory Docs and all its contents into Backup. Is there a way to do this with Robocopy? Thanks!

I'm using in my command the /MIR....so if there are many subfolders in this main folder, and on daily bases just random subfolders getting new data, will this /MIR command re-copy all not changed folders, or just those changed? How would you robocopy large outlook PST files on daily bases?
Is it possible to take backup of the file at destination before replacing with newer file from source i.e, backup existing file name with timestamp and replace it newer file from source...

good video and my opinion still, GUI tools like Fastcopy, GS Richcopy 360 , GoodSync are easier and faster than Robocopy
