    New Subscriber!. I still regret letting my 1978 Scout II go more than a decade ago. It hard to find one now in good condition.

    I miss my Scout 800A, it had the 304V8 in it. Great truck. It also had a tracloc differential.

    Sweet scout
    Years ago a had a scout II with the 345. I put a turbo on it from a cummins 6bt and ran it on propane. That think took 15lbs all day with out any issues. Just took a beating

    Very cool! This is what the IH guys could have done if only they had EFI and computer control with the turbo Scout 80 in 65.

    That is so cool, I'm a new subsriber, I just traded hay bailing work to this old niebor of mine and got a scout 80 with the 152, they sure are cool but it's laughably gutless, I'm going to put a holly sniper on it, and eventually work my way at up to a super charger now

      We have no plans to sell this as a kit. It was done more for fun. If you seriously do want a kit made for you our shop can do it but normally one off made parts are not cheap to make/sell.

    Wow Jeff! The AX15 would be perfect behind it! I could imagine the bellhousing adapter is $600.00. Transfer Case adapter would be $500 18/20. With a sweet tune in that new distributer... Man, what a sweet ride! Is that a 4.15 Rear? That supercharger makes a whole new sound! I would love to see you all release a supercharger for the 304!

    I have an original turbo 152 scout 1965 and i bet it gets very close to the same numbers for boost and top speed. Best I have ever got for mpg is about 14. And that is if you drive about 50 mph for 2 hours.

    • @VinnyMartello
      @VinnyMartello 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s wild. My 392 could get 12mpg. I’m amazed that chopping the engine in half ink yields 2 more mpg.

    So you're running boost straight into the Holley Sniper Autolite 1100 FI and letting the throttlebody manage the fueling?

      @@IHPARTSAMERICA Fantastic. I don't have my '67 Sportop anymore but I have a similar sized engined 4x4 that I've been considering adding a Sniper to, much like you've done here and I'd like the ability to boost it when I head to higher altitudes.

    Awesome improvement! Would you be willing to share links to he blow off valve and carb ‘hat’ that you ended up using? Thanks

    • @IHPARTSAMERICA
      @IHPARTSAMERICA 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry no part numbers as we didn't write it down. The blowoff valve was the cheapest one we could find on either Ebay or Amazon. Just needed to make sure it was I believe 2" to match the supercharger and carb hat which came off of a vintage Jeep with a F-134 engine.

    • @IHPARTSAMERICA

      Will cruise at 70mph but the engine is screaming at that speed. Axle ratio is the stock 4.27.
