If i would have a mr and mrs Matco, i would have some of their tools and graciously welcome them into my shop. Since having 2 horrible experiences with drawer slide and key and tool warranties with factory, matco is not welcome. HOWEVER I LOVE this channel and seeing new tools and tips, and seeing what a great job mr and mrs accomplishes!! Thank you again!!
Honestly for the price of boxes it's surprising that the companies don't have a dedicated delivery team for ordered boxes. When they get a load they go out.
It’s why buying from a tool truck is great because they can ensure a product and make sure it is the quality that it should be. I also think the trained knowledge and supporting a singular person is such a huge benefit. The big stores are paying minimum wage and providing minimum training/service. If it is your company you’re going to treat people better and care a hell of a lot more!
Ironically, back in 1984 I bought my first Matco tool box. It had been damaged in shipping, the top box lid had been smashed down. So being that I work in the Autobody trade I took the discount and then repaired the lid. Painted it, good as new. I’d definitely have taken the green 4S with the damage, love the color and the extra top drawer is a great idea.
Hello tool folks, Clay, I love the Savior items my Matco dealer gets me! In this day an age, a person MUST protect your own! Safely and Logic obviously factored in. That box is a sweet item. Thinking of updating my 4S Sublime green to a 6S with extra top drawer and hutch, it is a tough decision but Thinking Very Strongly about...☺️ Great vid again Clay!👍
It’s an AWESOME MATCO FRIDAY. Yes I would definitely do that on that damaged box as a matter of fact I did buy one of my toolboxes damaged from Snap-on and got a hell of a deal on it and I still have it and don’t even notice the damage.
Hello again, Clay and Mr and Mrs. Matco's Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Hearing about the tool box, reminded me of when I bought my last box. It to had some damage. But I got a great deal on it. I still have it. A 41" 9-drawer Craftsman tool box. I bought it from Sears before they went out of business. It has served me well. Stay safe and warm. Again thank you 👌
Thought that I really found a good deal from Home Depot. On a nice extra storage box. Seems like every time I pull a drawer open. Something else goes and jams up some place. But I fooled them. It makes a great wheel chock.
A tech where I work now has had to deny it twice due to shipping damage under shady circumstances from the shipping company, nothing to do with matco at all, they’ve been nothing but helpful
LTL freight companies are a nightmare. In the powersports business, most any units shipped LTL were damaged. I bought my KR1000 when they were first introduced, and keep it shined up. I would not accept a damaged box.
I have a tool over load out grow all my small and medium boxes my problems is not sure which brand get want a nice big box was even think the general from harbor freight box big one dnt want spend so much on a tool box that I can use buy tools what do you think
Can you PLEASE do me a HUGE favor? (Even though you don’t know me from Adam)? When I say I know something about this, please believe me. PLEASE let these both fine people know, (I can’t remember their names) PLEASE tell them to keep their “hole punchers” on their persons in a high quality holster and NOT on a magnet or a “hidden” spot on the truck? It is WAY better and WAY safer this way. IF God for bid something did go down, there is ZERO chance they would be able to defend themselves if that item isn’t readily available and accessible. If its “stored’ away, they would NOT be able to react in time. I would hate for that to happen to these two fine folks… They certainly don’t deserve it. And IF they did decide to protect themselves, I want them to do it correctly. I have responded to TOO MANY situations where what they talked about doing, DIDN’T work unfortunately… you think you could grab it in time, but it NEVER works. GET TRAINED and CARRY ON!
Absolutely Agree! It is imperative to have it On you vs. near you. I'm up north, Indiana, we have reciprocity with the Entire South as far as "hole punchers" check your state laws for EDC. But you need to practice often and frequent if you carry. Never buy a "tool" without learning how to Safely USE it!!! I'd love to live in the south, so much more polite and self-sufficient.
Michael, if you see this and don’t take this the wrong way but from what I know about you from these videos which I guess I really don’t know you , you should try blow drying your beard. I think you would enjoy the look. If you already enjoy it then disregard it’s still a killer beard. Just a tip I got and it is done wonders. I gotta look similar to yours.

I want to see what you and Michael think about the 4s single bay box.
Mac now has the lock a socket tray with the mag panels on each side, I've been waiting for one since Matco stopped carrying them in 2020
