    You make this seem easy, but I'm not sure I'm ready for this. I seem to be content to let others do all the work and I just come in and enjoy the stitching! lol But you've got me thinking...

      you can do it at your own pace. If you do the trial of Hatch, it's absolutely free, so you can get the feel of digitizing and see if you are ready to start. Try it, you never know what will happen!! Jump in!

    Would love to follow and get an idea of redwork. Wonderful! Can't wait for it in #GoTeamEmbird
    😁. Will watch here in NL tomorrow.

      #goteamembird! Keep in mind that in this class I only use a running stitch. So open up Embird, and find the running stitch tool and place your points down. Embird will be easier for the shaping, because you place your point down and then grab the circle node and move it to the place you want - you don't have to worry about placing curved points. Give it a try, you can do it and you can follow along with the class!

      redwork is such a nice effect - sometimes it's great to have light stitching.

    I wanted to see how to do this, even tho it's Hatch (#TeamEmbird). No point trying to cram more info than necessary into the old brain and mix everything up. Is it much different to do in Embird? Hatch does seem to appear quite clean/uncluttered. You do have a way of explaining that helps me visualise pics in a different way. Thanks!

      the way to look at video classes in other software is what stitches i am using. Most of the class videos I try and keep the stitches simple - running, satin and fill. every software has these 3 stitches. So for this class, I am using a running stitch. In studio you can find the running stitch, import the picture and do the class!! Embird is a bit easier for curves and straight points - so you can place your points down and then move the circle to make the curve. You can do it!

      @@OMLembroidery Thanks for the info and encouragement! I've been "chompin' at the bit" to look at some of the other non-Embird classes. So now, I can. 😀

    Thank you, Sue. Great video. You used the word “cusp”. What does that mean?

    • @OMLembroidery
      @OMLembroidery  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      a cusp is a pointed end - so in the pumpkin design, i used curved points and then used a straight point to create a point, or a cusp.
