As some one who has faced colorism and racism all throughout my life when it comes to pay, healthcare, promotions, job opportunities, home loans, car loans, (any kind of) insurance, etc you name it. This was not a colorism or race issue. Candiace and Wendy need to cut the bull. It's ok when they make inflammatory comments about other people's lives and its not just comments they want to go deep and cut people, but when they get retaliation all of a sudden its colorism. I remember when Gizelle and Robyn were going against Katie about being black. Not saying Katie was wrong, because she is biracial. But I never got that "colorist" vibe from Gizelle or Robyn. But I have from Candiace and Wendy they need to stop projecting. I've never seen them (GEBs or other light skin castmates) say or act like they dont like them because of their skin tone. Also, Candiace said that one season when Karen and Gizelle were arguing in that hotel lobby. "Stop! the white people are watching us." Wendy. (imo she said it in a way as if her light skin made her more beautiful.) Also, Gizelle and Robyn were there for Candiace when she got into that fight with Monique. When clearly she started that too. I also remember when Karen had that get together with the couples and when the husbands were asked "which housewife other than your wife are you attracted to?" and he (Chris) wrote down Gizelle (who was not in attendance and Candiace acknowledged he wrote her name down). Eddie (also at the get together) wrote down Mia but Wendy said under her breath "I know that doesn't say Mia." So he erased it. He (Chris) also got irritated one scene when he was sitting down talking to Gizelle at his restaurant (or the one he was working at) and got mad when Candiace walked up like he wanted to continue the conversation with Gizelle. So that would make since why Gizelle said it made her uncomfortable when he asked to talk to her in a private area.

They always cry racism or colorism when they don’t want to be held accountable. And to accuse people of something then say they’re wrong for defending their character is insane. Colorism and racism don’t just go one way and that’s the problem the ones usually pointing the finger are also guilty of it themselves.
Gizelle and Robyn aren't colorist. Do they benefit from colorism (from no fault of their own), yes. Do Wendy and Candiace have insecurities surrounding their own complexion and project that onto Robyn and Gizelle? Yes. Wendy used to bleach her skin. Her mom still does. Candiace has a complex surrounding lighter skinned women hence the comment she made about having a light skinned daughter.
