It was purchased from Amazon, the magsafe circuit did not appear and the charger was confirmed that it is a pd and supports more than 18 watts and a 42 watt home charger was tried but it did not appear
Hi, how well does the rubber grips grip onto the air vent plastic slabs? My worry is it falling off. I've seen the uGreen charger like this that kind of clips onto the vent slabs but only one. I was looking at Brodit but to get a MagSafe holder from them it's going to cost over 100 pounds! You have to buy the Apple MagSage charging puck too.
It grips on to my vent EXTREMELY well! It’s tight enough that you feel you have to use a little force when taking it on and off. It’s honestly never fallen off the vent and my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) has never fallen off either considering my wife sometimes says I drive like I’m in the fast & furious, this is the most secure MagSafe phone holders I’ve used! Haven’t thought about changing it since I got this one and it has such a small footprint it doesn’t take up too much space Hope this helps, thank you
@@PersianPrinceTech I looked at my car today and sadly, this won't work for me. Because of the design and position of the air vents it will place my phone behind the steering wheel or towards the passenger side. So either way I won't be able to use it for navigation. Looks like I'll have to go the expensive route.
No animation means not officially certified … Why noone manages to do a car mount + charger officially certified « Made For MagSafe » ? Seems there is a technical issue . You’ll find billions of MagSafe COMPATIBLE ( 7,5 W ) but nothing 100% official ( 15 W )
At this time I am not. I’m not sure what Spigen did to their MagSafe clear case for the iPhone 13 series but they seriously ruined it from last year… Have a look at the video I did here: th-cam.com/video/wQYJT6ksJ6o/w-d-xo.html
It’s specifically tailored to fit MagSafe and tbh I’ve never owned anything but iPhone since the iPhone 4, so I’m not too sure! I’d say best thing is to measure the magnet array if present/possible in Samsung & check the dimensions
@@PersianPrinceTech I contacted the Belkin support and they told me that it's normal as the iPhone 14 series are not officially tested with the product yet. However, I don't have any response when and if they will ever be tested in the future..
Ah 15 Pro Max 🤦♂️! Yes definitely, I use it on my 15 Pro Max and works brilliantly! I would always suggest using a MagSafe compatible case on your phone however, as this increases the strength of the magnet and reduces the risk of it falling
I’ve just picked one up, they should be certified now as mine does the animation 🙌🏻
Nice to hear that kind of background sounds, happy papa ;)
Thank you! I really try hard to record these videos and it’s not always easy with young children around and I’m very conscious of background noise
@@PersianPrinceTech you'll be sad when they grow up.

The review i was looking for! Thanks for the help gonna buy one now.
Glad I could help! While leaving the car yesterday, literally looked at this Belkin and thought "This thing is perfect" haha

Are you using a Spigen MagSafe Ultra Hybrid Case?

I'm not getting the charge animation on the 14 Pro Max, but I do on my iPhone 12...
same here...
That’s interesting, I will check on my iPhone 14 Pro and get back to you…

Is this safe to use on 15pm?
Sorry I don’t understand the question, what do you mean by 15pm?
Regarding the battery's capacity.

Yes it’s fine to use and have it wirelessly charge or wired charge by usb and just have the mount stand alone
