To bad no one has done an animation of my favorite scene in the whole series which is the Vulcannus and Abigail vs Pythus in the end. The part where Vulcannus picks up both the nether blade and enderblade and they both glow is something that I would like to see as one side of his body turns purple. My second favorite scene was the Herobrine vs death singer. I will say this has to be my 3 rd favorite fight. This was awesome. I understand why you stopped. This stuff is hard work. I would like to animate my favorite scene, but I know nothing about animation, and it wouldn't be as good as this.
I must to say must of fan animations has problems with lazy moves and unnatural sequences (by obvious reasons) But this animation was unexpected, the fight sequence was really accurate with SoW fight style. Honestly was amazing!

I’ve done some research in Herobrine and I’ve seen that he is supposed to be in the third season.I don’t know if it is true because so far out of all the season 3 animations but be seen, I haven’t spotted Herobrine in any.This is really important to me since any story with Herobrine in it has to have great lore.I also read that he is helping Sen and our hero’s.I would like to see how that works out but in my opinion Herobrine is better off a villain.Like in Annoying Villagers.But this is a W animation.
He is mainly just a background character in Songs of War. He has a gimmick where he will randomly show up during a lightning storm, and once the storm passes, he vanishes. He also has no spoken dialogue. But other than that, he has no major role in the story other than helping out on some major battles. I think David just wanted to keep him as some sort of Legend/Myth in the Songs of War universe, which would make sure all the other original characters could never be overshadowed by Herobrine.
An older cut of the hailstone battle/Voltaris slaughter exists. But Megste has said that he has lost some video files over the years, so that scene could be lost.

Episode 8 barely had anything completed. The only scene from Episode 8 that Megste completed, is Pythus's Rage which is the first scene in this video, though Megste labeled it as being from Episode 9 from some odd reason.

Simple, their arc wasn't animated that much by Megste and it ended by S3 E8.
