Hi curiousboy, "ri plao" is same as asking "...or not" in English. For eg, Have you eaten or not?. On the other hand, "mai" is simply asking Have you eaten? You will see egs of these in many of my videos. There will be another series of videos on question words in Thai. Many series are queuing in production. So, keep learning!
