Here in South Africa macadamia nuts comes cleaned (without the shell) and the nuts are prepackaged in small quantities and very expensive. Only once I ever came across fresh with the shell and had to bang it several times with a hammer to crack the very strong shell and get the nut out. Never knew that they grew like this on long stalks though. Thank you for the video
