What's funny about these Pokemon marathon bumps is that Steven Blum did the voiceover for them. Toonami was only a few weeks away from having the block cancelled the first time. But other than that, HOLY CRAP, THIS IS GONNA BE A GOOD FEAST.

Oh man, what an era man. During the pokemon-a-thon my parents were at a family friend's house for a labor day block psrty, and i managed to not only get alone time to talk to my childhood crush, but i introduced her to pokemon through the marathon and years after we ended up moving away from one another, she showed me her room was filled with pokemon merch and plushies.
So yeah, a pretty happy time in my life lol. I wonder how she's doing these days.

This is a REALLY great find!
If I sorta recall, this was juuust when I started consuming Pokemon stuff beyond the Diamond & Pearl games, so plenty of stuff is a real throwback to me.
