I like how NO ONE is concerned about the mental health and lifestyle part of the video, and everything else about the vault tour (albeit, it is a vault tour video). I didn't think a ROTMG addiction would mean creating a schedule around the activity of the game itself. Yes, I was addicted for a long time and been wanting to quit for over a year, and it did get alot worse than how you had it. I got covid, and was stuck at my place for 2 weeks. Then a friend convinced me to play video games with him cause I haven't played at all during college (I'm anti-video game). HUGE MISTAKE. But that's my life. Whatever I'm an idiot for getting into games again. But I feel HORRIBLE seeing it happen to other people. Looking back at it now, ironically enough, even at the most addicting times playing this game, my life was actually still much better than most people, I just have high standards and expectations for myself. And I like how people thinks I can't quit the game. They don't realize that this is the only game I play, and I don't watch Netflix/anime or mindlessly scroll through social media. I just didn't have a solid plan to curb my temptations. They say they can quit, but they find something else to waste their time on, eyes glued to a screen that does nothing but wastes time - it's ALL the same thing. Search up "bread and circuses", and figure things out from there. It's pathetic that people can't see that this is my ONLY time waster (a massive one obviously), and thinks they're any different from me. When really, they'll just find another distraction, and settle with a standard mediocre life, I'm not specific with the last part cause I don't want to offend people. There is ALWAYS a better thing to do than video games. Only if every aspect in life is a 10/10, then maybe enjoy an hour or two on video games. It's comical that people doesn't see that, which is why I'm so anti-video game and been wanting to quit for a LONG time, even when I wasn't that addicted or far into ROTMG. Anyways, nice vault, you can still play ROTMG, (I still play occscionally myself), but don't play it addictively. As you mentioned in the past, you know you should use your disposable income for something better like your IRA, so do that, make better spending habits, look for different income avenues, and find ways to improve your life from there. Don't be cringe and find something else to waste time on, you're just repeating the cycle over again. Never settle for less.
