im old enough to know that "charity" is a scam. Most people in it is in it to make a profit. The numbers will never match up, especially when government is involved. Because people will always overspend and overcharge when the government is the one writing the checks. The people who are truly charitable and want to help people are at the bottom and will never be in a position to force change. The people making a dollar off the homeless are always at the top.

Drug addicts do that already in boarding houses call small shelters; they get their meds outside & sleep inside as they don't provide medical mental healthcare , up keeping afterwards or preventions to avoid being there.

Camps are not housing or humane. We need to get so many off the streets and many on the streets do have some income but not enough for these outrages rent prices. It used to be easier to live here.

Gee whizzz I just heard that Jo Ann Hardesty (sp) lost her election? Aww so sad 😆🍿I wonder if she ever call 9/11 again? Remember that one? After hearing that story & hearing the tape of it, I was going comment, but I started reading the comments and was laughing so hard I couldn’t write cause my eyes were watering so hard from laughing, I could hardly read! Now we know, for sure just how funny memories can be! Now PPB is so shorthanded, thanks to Jo Ann and the Police Commissioner/mayor, Ted Wheeler, who treated PPB so disgustingly Bad, including the “reporters” on the street, for any tiny think that even looked they were wrong, plus the DA, who said on tape he wasn’t going to
Prosecute blm or antifa, if I recall it right, I know he blm, but not sure about antifa, who he did Not prosecute either, but ok Mike Schmidt has his eye balls on PPB cause he was dying to find a reason to Prosecute one of these women or men, who are Heroes, for fighting for the people of Portland, even for Ted, when those thugs were climbing up the holding where Ted lived at the time! I hear all of Ted’s former neighbors Hate him! Can’t imagine why! So anyway, thank you Ted & others, a big bunch of Officers from PPB who were ready to retire, did! And a a lot of others found jobs in other cities or Sheriff’s Departments who wanted good LEOs who always want to do the job they took their Oaths to do, that they weren’t allowed to do because of their Police Commissioner!! Now, hardly any Cop looking for a job do Not apply for one at the PPB, because, thanks to Ted who gave them a bad reputation, OR better yet Because of Ted’s bad reputation, they don’t apply! But soon many of these people will be gone, just like Jo Ann & Kate! Maybe a lot sooner than we think!😆💥
I’m going to stop talking now lol, Ben fun chatting with you! Oh the memories!!
