Streusel (the "eu" is pronounced "oi", at least in Germany and I think that's where they are from) are made of two parts flour, 1 part sugar and 1 part butter. The "dough" is supposed to be crumbly to be put on cakes as a topping.
The closest Trader Joe's to me (I live on an island in Maine) is about 3.5 hours away. I'll be heading to that area this weekend for a weekend getaway and def will be stocking up on TJs items while there!! Can't waaaait 🤗🤗
Noticed the Night face cream had Xylitol in the ingredients. No idea how much, but if you have a dog (Natasha has two) you may want to check with your vet if it would be bad for them to lick your face or hands after you've applied it, as Xylitol is toxic to dogs.
Have you tried The Witch’s Brew wine that you can heat up or The dearly beloved I thee wed wine? The bottles are so cool looking . I got The Witch’s Brew. I hope I can find the garlic asiago dip. It sounds delicious. I have heard the ghosts and bats are pretty plain tasting so I think they would be a good choice for the dip just because the flavor wouldn’t compete. Lol, right there with you on being too lazy to cut up hard squash. Will definitely buy the slices if offered in my area. You do get some produce and even flowers that I never find here. I think you have more options in SoCal. Dahlias are not usually very long lasting after cutting. If I get 5 days in the vase, that’s pretty normal. The mini carnations/dianthus and the alstroemeria are probably the longest lasting cut flowers (not counting those that actually dry well) I can buy from TJs. I found out last week that they have discontinued the hake filets which is a shame. They keep discontinuing the best products. I wish they would at least warn us so we could stock up in advance. I sadly used my last jar of the delicious masala sauce so that’s the end of that. Their replacement in a pouch isn’t nearly as good. It makes me want to shake people and tell them they need to buy my favorite products so TJs will stop discontinuing them. 😀
