The helicopter looked like it wasn't going to handle another two minutes. It was for the best.

This is the real reason Lil J went bald. He couldn't take the stress.

Favorite moment is a tie. They fought an army of cops to the dingy, passed the mission, and the game showed criminal mastermind challenged passed. Then Gavin got mugged in their post-heist celebration.
In the beginning: "Bum cheese is a very sacred phrase, and we should only say it in dire circumstances"
In the end: "Is it a bum cheese? Remember to only say the code phrase 'bum cheese' if it's an actual bum cheese moment. Buy our 'bum cheese' t-shirt now!"

It's actually pretty awesome hearing them say how impossible it will be and literally laughing at their chances in the beginning, knowing that they actually do do it at the end. Still so proud of them!
2 years late;
Thing is, though, the Criminal Mastermind for those original heists isn't actually that difficult (even back then). The AI is pretty braindead and they're not firing lasers like in Doomsday, plus the heavy vests still work, which reduces damage by 20%. As long as your team isn't dicking around, you should breeze right through them for the easiest GTA$10 Mill in the game.

God I fucking loved this series, we need more co-op with these four exclusively. I mean I love Jack and Geoff, salt of the Earth, but co-op with this team is always a treat!
you do know salt of the earth is an insult right, because salting the earth would make it unable to grow crops which in early society meant you were just going to fucking die
+Gameipedia salt of the earth is an old phrase but actually it refers to the value of salt at the time it was coined. To say someone is the salt of the earth is to say they're really good/valuable. Even if it actually was an insult, Geoff has been using it as a compliment in videos for years so being used as such in the comments on an AH video makes sense

They are a group of the most volatile people in achievement hunter. Ryan in his poor attempt at being the Leader because he's too violent and needs to real it in, Michael being a man of action, Jeremy is a goof and Gavin makes bad choices

For some reason I had faith in them-- even though it was the most eclectic and volatile of individuals when in comes to individual play- these four are chaotic but in a weird sync-- hard to predict but man it was a wild ride
battle buddies + nice dynamite. the accomplishment crew, given their laso runs
when Michael says "just throw your xbox" i'm reminded of the rage quit where he went upstairs to Matt Hullum's office and threw "his xbox" out of Matt's window and then beats it up further w/ I can't remember if it was a crowbar or a sledge hammer, but 1 of the 2.

Ryan was totally on it. That was a respectable Bum Cheese if I've ever seen one.

These Let's Play were so stressful just to WATCH, I could never imagine how fucking stressed they must have felt playing it.
The one thing I'm upset they didn't do with this, is add heartbeat monitors. I'd love to see how stressed they actually were.

Let's all be honest here: if anyone was going to fuck up this series, it wasn't going to be Jeremy. It was Gavin.
Its funny how great this series was. Quite possibly some of the best content they have made. I think what makes it so entertaining for me, is that they are all scared of dying, which adds an element of hilarious realism. I cam almost imagine their characters saying the same things they are, and for me, that brings them to life.
I was already pissing myself at Gavin trying to pronounce "pagoda" and then when he said "paneeba" I fucking LOST it 😂

I remember Michael being like "if this video doesn't end here and it goes on for another 20 minutes, we probably didn't make it." And I looked at the video numbers and it was almost EXACTLY another 20 minutes long.
So, I may catch some flak for this but whatever. You are the new Hembo in my eyes. The last compilation he posted that wasn't "How do words good" was 2 months ago and then before that was over 7 months ago. Keep in mind I'll always love Hembo but I think soon you will take his crown. You are an amazing editor by putting in the time and effort to make these, and I hope your subs go up because you deserve it! Keep it up!

RL takes priority over editing compilations man. The reason Hembo does the How-do-word-good still, is because at this point, he is relying heavily on user submitted clips for his most popular series, because, IIRC, RL is preventing him from spending a ton of time on it.
Not saying he doesn't have his reasons believe me. That's what I've thought since he stopped posting them. It just sucks to see someone steer from the content they started with ya know? I don't hate him for it. Just not many other people are as skilled as him and I think this guy is bringing back the nostalgia of the old Hembo compilations.

I love how they keep saying how nerve-racking the heists are because they’re terrified of dying. In their usual GTA videos they do lots of crazy stuff because Death has no consequences. But as soon as dying becomes a problem, they all freak out.
