    That's an absolutely beautiful move. The only trouble I have with coin magic like this is that, as an American, the only coin we have that's that big is a Kennedy half, and they're pretty uncommon. You can get them from the bank anytime you want, of course, but you don't see them too often just in everyday life.
    But...I'm just nitpicking, because some of the moves can be done with quarters, and I can always go get a Kennedy half if I need a bigger coin. I'm mostly just whining about quarters being small and halves being uncommon. But again, it's a great move.
    I like how my guy Lloyd says "you've gotta try to keep your fingers still, and I'm certainly no pro at it," while I'm watching him flawlessly execute a move I know how to do and I _still_ can't spot it. Beautiful as always, my friend.
    (Yes, I know this video is two years old. I'm commenting now because I wasn't subscribed to the channel two years ago.)

    Such an awesome variation. Easier than trying to drop it onto the pinky like in the traditional version.

    I had this effect on my mind since I saw it in the trailer. I have never seen the move before that trailer and I instantly wanted to know how in the heck you did it. Then this tutorial came out. You say you're not an expert at it yet, even after knowing what you were doing it still doesn't make logical sense in the mind how it could work. Even if you see some finger movements, the mind still thinks it's not possible to move the coin from the middle of the hand to the other hand without beign seen. And by the way, you're looking healthy as fuck lately. Well done, keep up the good work. Follower until the day I die.

    Beautiful. The beauty of it is you can't even see your pinky move. Thanks. So awesome. I was practicing coin vanishes with a half dollar American but I always lose them. Another thing is you magicians don't realize how much dexterity these tricks require. One must work on finger dexterity these simple tricks require

    Good stuff, mate! I’ve used the Himber for years until I discovered “the drop “ and Goshman’s vanish. I’m always looking for ways to improve classics. Kudos!

      I came up with a series of vanishes and during my research I found one of your vanishes that was basically the same thing! I don’t remember what you called it but it was a vanish (very stylized video) in which your empty hand was next to your chest and the coin was held in your outstretched hand. Fingers closed and the then opened to reveal the coin has vanished! I’ve been following you ever since❤️. The smoothest catapult I’ve ever seen!

    • @LloydB
      @LloydB  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Probably for someone experienced but some people are beginners so I always try my best to cover every detail. Some even a few times.
      And to be fair, this whole video is 12 minutes. The explanation comprises 9 minutes of the video and for a fairly advanced sleight, 9 minutes is rushed.
      Some don’t care but for me; the reasoning, theory and nuances are what separates the magic from the tricks. Each to their own though 🙂
