Hello, Thanks for sharing. I am planning a trip this December. The first problem was reaching the gov website from outside India. I could not even find an IT support personal to resolve my issue. So I decided to get help from a friend in India. The second issue is the reservation. Do I need to wait to book for Dec 25/26 2024? How many days in advance does the booking open? Right now I cannot make permit reservations. Do the guides speak both Hindi and English? I can understand Hindu but cannot speak that well. Thanks much!
@@jayh8287 hello Jay, 1) online,you can book maximum of 3 months in advance and offline at least two hours before the visit of Gir Jungle Safari/Devalia Safari Park in a particular time slot if the e-permits are available. 2)there are 3 types of guide available,10th pass 12th pass & naturalist.So the 3rd type may know good english.

Hello Vishaldeep.. 1)If you have permit you will get your gypsy & guide for sure...(but you have to pay extra for gypsy n guide.) 2)From somnath its 1 hour journey by road, so private taxi, GSRTC buses and quite a few private buses ply between both the cities and take you directly to Sasan Gir Forest.

And Devalia park safari 1hrs 5200/

Oh.. can I share jeepsy with other people?
In such case,you may share the gypsy but you have to check for your permit or you can call front desk of singh sadan before going.
