@@jamardns77 yeah, honestly I don’t think it would make a difference. I haven’t noticed construction workers being that much stronger on the table then others. He would still beat them all I believe.
I don't comment on videos too much. But I found you through your video with Magnus Mitbo and have really loved watching your own vids. You are super respectable, humble, and encouraging to everyone you arm wrestle. Sure, you are out there to show your strength, but it's obvious that you make a point to give everyone the opportunity to show their own strength as well. Great videos ET
True! However what he means when he says that is: "I don't wanna break your arm or throw a pec muscle now while I beat you." If it was professional he wouldn't say such things. The reason they say to watch your hands is because if you're just blindly throwing, you have a tendency to use all your muscles regardless of position which leads to injury. If you're looking at your arm you still have a fundamental awareness of how your arm functions and its weaknesses - at least more so than blindly chimpanzee'ing it which is what people do out of desperation when losing.
Minute 4:31 He pulled the “It’s like a switch”moment when Sylvester Stallone turns his hat around in the movie Over the Top. am I that old that no one else got that besides me? 😂
U might be to old to also know that the hat flip back is an Ask Ketchum move aswell, but its all good im not hating...we all get old one day, noone gets to hide from time.
Nice. And you are one of the few pullers on TH-cam land I have seen that actually teaches people how to "PULL" correctly and safely. Big fan of that. 👍
Like how you guide the guys while they're trying all they can to beat you 🥰..and then the last whisper comes b4 beating them, telling them you're strong dude 🤣🤣 just love how you do all this, and guides them aswell 💪🏾🔥🥰❤️
Very good on guiding your opponents as to not break their arms. Left shoulder forward, closer to the table, look at you hand are all techniques to not break an arm.
Great idea for content. I like how you give others respect for trying. If you ever come to Ohio I will try you out for the hell of it 155lbs mechanic 🤷♂️. Love the content btw.
Im 28, won a few local tournaments in my weight class. Been arm wrestling since i was a kid in elementary school lol. Id love to train with this dude. Currently at 200 pounds, actively workout and still train for arm wrestling. Awesome video bro, its definitely shining light on the world of arm wrestling.
Lol at this guy. Telling amateurs to bring their left shoulder forward. Pulling your far shoulder back is how a lot of people add power to their pull. Love these videos. Totally hilarious.
It’s because it gets them back in a position that is safer for them… when you turn your head away, and pull your left shoulder back, it puts a lot of torque on you humerus bone (which is the most common way people break their arm when armwrestling)
@17:50 that's me right there let me tell you this guy is strong AF but I'm training to get stronger 💪🏼 can't wait for to be In the high desert 🏝️ Again Next I'll bet you Ash Ketchum 😂
Enjoy watching your videos Ash as you are definitely the real deal! I like the way you encourage everyone you wrestle and are very modest when you win. I thought it was fricken awesome when you went up against arm wrestling legend, Devon Larratt!! It was great that you wrestled with him and nice that he shared some tricks of the trade with you. Maybe some day you will go toe to toe with " the schoolboy", that would be an epic bout for sure, could go either way!! Take care and thanks for sharing your videos!
If you use the light pole as a 'middle point' you can see how arms get progressively pulled forward like Whisperer says. Suddenly their arm and grip are 6 inches forward in an undvantageous position despite being coached.
I don't know anything about arm wrestling - What is the reason he is telling people to bring their left shoulder forward? is it because he is deciding to apply pressure at that point and them being in a bad position could break their arm?
I dislocated my shoulder 20+ times after not having any luxations before, and some people just dont fucking understand he doesn't want to tear their fucking shoulder apart. I dislocated my shoulder watching this and tore my shoulder cuff watching this, i like this dude so much. I just can't watch it.
Biker I'd wanna set up a Supermatch between you and me. I'm a 165lb dude, been armwrestling for a good team in Wisconsin for around 9 months or so, would be a great match I think!
hey , I'm curious , when you popup arm-a-palooza wrestling challenges, do you have them sign a no fault waiver? Cuz arm wrestling isn't as simple as it looks. an arm can be easily broken, and I see you try to coach they're movement properly so there won't be any accidents
You really need to listen to this with headphones on cause if people hear this without seeing what’s going on, it sounds absolutely horrific… In terms of awkwardness due to sounds of pornography lmao
Good stuff man. I leave the shopping centers looking for stuff like this cuz I'd love to try. I met Devon in Pittsburgh when he came for his WAL match and had such a fan girl moment I didn't even think to ask to lock up. But I did shake his hand in an arm wrestling grip... Freakin huge hands. That was an awesome moment. Keep it up though your fun to watch
I love how the sign was written out big words beat me and then you are about to put probably and win $150 but then you're like be better make sure we add at arm wrestling
Maybe to get more people to try and also be more competitive for yourself. You can have a sign that says something like, "if I CAN'T beat you within one minute, you win $150!!"
That’s easier tho. The longer he arm wrestles the more challenging it is over time. Almost everyone he arm wrestled except for maybe 2 ppl he could’ve flashed pin if he wanted
Nah, cause he could blast through most of these people but that's just asking to hurt someone. Your idea would only really work if he was arm wrestling with people that have an understanding of at least the basics. The average person off the street would definitely commit their shoulder to try and stop him and then the humerus would snap into a million pieces, video over.
I randomly clicked the vid and noticed you talking quietly to everyone and I was going to say you should call yourself the armwrestling whisperer, but then I realized that’s your channel name
Maybe you could go outside of a Home Depot and take on some construction workers?
Theyre really strong since they work all day hard enough
Construction workers go to Walmart too lol

Old guy is probably a seasoned bar arm wrestler, oaks are cocky and always arm wrestle like that💀
"bring your left shoulder forward" is basically how he says ok nice work I'm gonna end it now and I don't want you to get hurt

Left shoulder forward means their pulling arm is kept out of the break position. Good technique to keep people safe arm wrestler whisperer.

He does this so that he doesn't break their arms, my dude.
It's for their safety.
crazy how many people don't know what left and right means
Why is he asking to bring left shoulder forward?
Better position for pull
It’s because it gets them back in a position that is safer for them… when you turn your head away, and pull your left shoulder back, it puts a lot of torque on you humerus bone (which is the most common way people break their arm when armwrestling)
Is he always saying to bring the left shoulder forward because it’ll snap the wrestling arm at the elbow if you keep bending like that?
Such a huge strength gap between him and the average dude.

That´s why he win when they do it
Because if he beats them while they're in a bad position, he'll break their arm.

I don't know anything about arm wrestling - What is the reason he is telling people to bring their left shoulder forward? is it because he is deciding to apply pressure at that point and them being in a bad position could break their arm?
Put your right arm in front of your body and then turn your left shoulder back, if someone moves your right arm outwards you would break your arm
The strat: yell when they start pulling hard
