Wonderful comparison dude! Correctly mentioned, Royal Enfield took advantage of the people all these years and never bothered to work on its flaws.... JAWA took advantage of the gap and positioned their bikes perfectly.

Jawa42 is best.. The major problem is after sale service and its availability
Either they do not have capacity to increase scale of production or not responsive to consumer need. 8 months is too long , even though it may b a legend ! After sales and spare part availability is going to come out as another surprise !
When I booked classic 350 in 2011 it took 9 months for delivery. Now Jawa is 3 months.

Jawa is also good. Or muze bhi jawa pasand aai but RE TB is best for me because of its riding posher, comfortable and wide seats and awesome looks, informative consol,projector headlight, alloy wheels,and most important tubeless tyres. That why i choose TB 350 X

How. About riding re in rain. . I heard all the dirt from front and back mudguard comes to the drivers legs and back. .😣
@@muhammedjabir5589 front mudguard u can have extender it costs around 200rs.rear i had no problem till now if u want u can have guard extender for rear to that is also around 150rs
I have 350 classic and test drive Jawa last Sunday for my younger brother , he’s saying for thunderbird 350x but I forced him to test drive jawa , first of all hospitality of Jawa showrooms are superb and after riding Jawa we thought that Enfields are using very old technologies ( vibrations in bikes, pickups) jawa is superb in pickups and there was no vibration at the speed of 60. On road price of jawa forty two is 2 lacs but they asked us to wait for approx 7 months for a bike . I asked them to give in max 1 or 2 months .they said they can give by feb if we want , he can’t wait for 4-5 months so we are discussing which to buy due to time issue, Jawa is superb , this guy exactly saying each word correct about bike . Superb knowledge 👍

Jawa is the true winner. I'm not disrespecting Thunderbird but guys we should look at the specs and the over all performance of both of the bikes. Moreover jawa is just 293cc and producing 27 BHP and Thunderbird has 346cc I'm not sure exactly and it producing just 19.5 BHP? How jawa is doing that much better than Thunderbird and one more major thing about jawa is that this has BS6 engine. So in my point of view Jawa is the true value of money and winner. Nice review 👌👍

Well I have been riding for long, started with the old bullet, then classic and now last year Thunderbird X, but recently i took a test ride of Jawa, and I'm sure my next bike is jawa period. Let's keep ego and emotions aside and talk sence, more reliable bike in less price, who dont want that. If you are a blind follower then it's a different thing, but if you talk about value for money java is the pick for me.
but what about : tube tyres, spokes, no black color, instrument cluster very basic. the only reason to go for jawa 42 would be i think Engine.
G works you should ride jawa and re back to back
@@gworks7RE is never ment for alloys, put alloys on your RE and go for a ladakh trip, it will crack. My front tyre has a tube in it, though it is tube less. This happened because the body is heavy and alloy provided by RE for Thunderbird X are not that strong. And i think RE knows this thing that's why RE interceptor is also coming with spokes rather than alloy.
@@gworks7 and after 2 weeks you wont bother about the instrument cluster, but even after two years you will be bothered about the engine performance.
@@gworks7 and even Thunderbird X don't have black colour be it 350 or 500. However 500's colour looks little funny too me that's why I opted for 350 white. If jawa would have been available at that time, my pick would be java.

I have bajaj pulsar 150
I have purchased 350x because of seating posture, height and suspension. I have lower back pain hence I prefer the 350x and I am very satisfied with it comfort. 2 more addition things for350 is - alloy wheel and tube less tyre.
My bro has JAWA42. The look, engine performance of JAWA 42?is good but seating posture and suspension is not much good. we have notice the ground clearance issue when 2 adult seat on Jawa. Else it is very nice, chrome shine bike.
Why jawa 42 providing tubed tyres, why not tubeless?

I am RE classic 350 owner from last 4 years now and have driven jawa all variants. I would love to go for jawa as they have better handling machines, breaks are superb, no vibration on high speeds wherein you will feel it the most even at the speed of 80 in RE.
I plan to buy jawa. It looks retro, sounds refined, has more power and for me, there aren't many Jawa around.

Old is always GOLD😎. Old jawa was start by kick, fuel consumption was very low comparison to the new one. New jawa fuel consumption is very high.
If you don't know then I will tell you that fuel efficiency of this byke is 25kmph within 1st year but no beyond 30kmph which is equivalent to 4 wheeler cars.

@Aniket Surwade yeah they are advanced but when battery breaks or the battery power is less than you need to use the kick only technology may be developed too much but when some time any thing goes wrong or not working we need to use the old style . 'RE THE BEST FOREVER AND JAWA
No high quality or expensive bike has kick start but only self start 👍🏻🤦🏻♂️
It's a BS6 standard engine , that's why !!
Thunderbird x 350 comes with carburettor n jawa comes with fulel injection , thunderbirdx 500 also comes with fulel injection
So what? My bolero also comes with self-start only and unfortunately there is no kick-start version available either.

What about Service Cost, annual maintenance & service cost?
May be Jawa42 is best in all mean after i gone through test ride of 42. But RE is love.....RE is a feeling....which in heart😘
But RE get 35-40 max mileage but Jawa gives 30 to 34 max mileage ! When BHP increases mileage decreases and when Compression ratio increases Engine heat increases and need a Oil or Liquid cooling system RE has relaxed Long stroke engine it has more raw power than jawa's Short stroke engine don't check on papers.
Also for another 3 years Jawa service spares may not be great and for the 2 lac price I would pick 350x just because it gets alloys, so tubeless, projectors and Better mileage and nearby service centres and still 15 K cheaper. I'am completely against those irritating vibes post 70Kmph but still this is good to cruise at 100 kmph and not beyond that.
Thunderbird 350 twin spark 2010 gives about 48km on highway 70 to 85kmph. City 35 to 38 km. If you accelerate smoothly then your bike will give very good average. I can get 55kmpl if I drive very smoothly using power fuel. Use petrol additive and oil additive. Put 5ml petrol additive on full tank each time!! Shift gears around 2250 rpm!!

Re best hai.. Low rpm pr v torq boht hai... Jawa ka torq high rpm pr hai. Mileage v 33max hai jawa ki.
