What I find so tragic about this period of Bible history is that I see David as a man whose heart belongs to God. The City of David, the Psalms of David, and Goliath are amazing and give us hope. It would also appear that David did not say his morning or nightly prayers during this period (my thoughts). It's difficult for me to believe that his heart could have continued into this sin. This history appears to be complex, and in some ways, it is not. The more I study the Bible, the more the path of mankind becomes clear. We live in a fallen world, and none of us is perfect except for our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. God keeps his promises, and with David, he kept his promise.
Thank you, Pastor Daniel and Maranatha Church family, for another cracking true story from the Bible.

He was more concerned about what man would think rather than pausing to realize God already knew everything because He knows the thoughts of man. Afterall, He knew David before he was knit together in his mother's womb ("Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb.")

Hey Daniel, greetings from Australia. Mate, the Bible studies are great of course, but you might need to have a second microphone if you're going to have audience input. There are long silences for us viewers while your participants answer questions or make observations.
