Only because they did not realease it to YOU does not mean it had not been made available to her and/or the police - after all, why do you think it took him literally less than 24 hours to settle this, to make it go away? Because his career would have ended already that very day. That is what settlements are for, money can heal a lot of wounds, if you have enough of it. Most people do not earn 1 million in their lifetime, so if someone offers you 5 million for a black eye and a bit of trauma, there is a point where money gives you more satisfaction than a conviction. This mechanism has been established for a reason.... but you cannot have it both ways settle, AND destroy his career, that is the essence of "settlement".

I saw the video, and I physically recoiled. It was absolutely disgusting, and all I could see was all the times my mom got beat by my step dad. It's absolutely horrific. I hope she took him for a ton of money and that she's living happily now.

My biological father beaten my mother so badly that her epilepsy gotten worse. She had morbid thoughts and tried to take her own life until I was about 12. I never knew my biological father as he left my mother when I was very young. All I know is that he had anger issues and impregnated multiple women and left them. He drove off a dam with 2 or 3 women. The women survived but my dad didn't. As I said again, he wasn't right in the head. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother.
@VinnyVenndetta I wish I could say that I was still in touch with her, but I'm not. She put me through hell, and despite everything I tried to do to help her, she wouldn't take it. I was there, stepping between them because my step dad knew my dad would kill him if he hurt me. I was there, calling the police and comforting her when they made him leave. I was there when she found out he was cheating. I was there when she started divorce proceedings....but then she just stopped the divorce. She told me I was the reason for her problems with him. She started trying to pull my own marriage apart, and I snapped. I still care, but after doing everything I could to help and protect her, she didn't want it. I mentally could not take that anymore. I was told she divorced him since then, though I'm not sure how true that is. It sucks, because even though she's a shitty person, she still never deserved the treatment she got. She said mean things and got way too drunk, but that never should have been met with fists. I do hope she's doing better, and it's a shame that I have a life without her, but it's better for myself and my family that she stays far away from us
@@StupidCatLady As someone who has went through a similar situation I just want to say I am proud that you took the steps in your life to make sure that you and your family is ok. A lot of times people will say "honor your mother and your father" and ignore the fact that you also have to honor yourself and set boundaries. After my mother was forcefully put in jail and mandated inpatient therapy (and ALOT of therapy for myself) I was able to speak to my mother again. It's not a perfect relationship but I have my boundaries and stick to them. I'm praying for your healing and hers as well.

I'm the GM at the Hilton hotel, and out video footage is automatically deleted after three months.... So yeah how do they have video footage from 10 years ago? There's NO WAY THEY saved it.
If I’m not mistake in the civil case docs Cassie said Diddy paid them 50k for the tape. Security also stopped her from going back into the hotel (but they should have called police). I think one of the main reasons we are seeing it now is because it was found and taken in the raid. The feds probably leaked this to cnn.
