I am actually Chilango and can claim true Aztec/Mexica descent. The strings are barely used in this vid and it is used in a Peruvian sense. We don't actually know Mexica Music theory. most of the music you see on youtube is based offJungle Amazonian musical compositions. We know the Mexica used Conches,Clay flutes and some percussions but the DRUM patterns or Musical tones aren't really known. This is actually very minimal and probably just as accurate as Jorge Reyes mainstream approach to Mexica music. I would also assume tthat they would have used Morache and had a similar drum pattern as the UTE as the Ute are Uto Aztecan.
