    I feel like as young adult till i was weee lad I stuck around my older brothers more because at the time it was hard to comprehend things and learn things.
    This is just my take, it just takes time for kids and teens to grow and adapt, your doing fine but always remember to be reasonable yet stern.
    Growth and foundation are key to long peaceful life.

    Maybe using walkie talkies to check in with the kids if everything's OK would make then feel less roared at? You roar they're naturally going to roar back. Instead of yelling a simple hey can do you need a hand? Through the walkie talkie would have created a better attitude from your young rapidly growing teen.

    Have some medical quality superglue around for when I cut myself like that. Works wonders for sealing up clean cuts (or small ones after you clean them). Yep, my boy is 15 now and he is starting to size me up, you know when they look down and they start at your feet and look all the way up to eye level and he relize he is 2" taller than you and he just take 2 seconds to long to respond to what you asked him to do, and at that very momernt you relize for the first time he is growing up very fast now. And when you bend over to give him a hug like a year ago but this time he rebounds and do the fist pump and wispers "Yikes man, what is wrong with you?" that you know he has become a stranger living under your roof. But never fear, I still hold the Wallet, I can't wait when he wants a car and he askes me, "Dad? How about it, I need $8000 for a car" that I go on the attack. "Yes son, No problem, It will only cost you a one hug!" that suddenly he turns into your little boy again! LOL!

      I've often thought about that as I've watched this channel over the years. As far as I know, the children were never asked if they wanted their daily lives to be broadcast to the world. They were never asked if they wanted a camera always hovering a few feet away while they went through the ups and downs of their lives. To me, my life is my own, and it's not to be made a consumable product for the rest of the world to view and judge. Maybe his children don't mind now because they don't know any better, but that viewpoint might change as they grow up.

      @@L1623VP This, yes. I've watched this channel from the beginning where they seemed to be college-age folks set to create a community of like-minded folks. (And all could financially benefit from tech.) And then Art and Bre showed up after Justin's prodding and I fully fell in love with them too. Sadly for them this online community fell in love with them and probably provided too much loving pressure to the point that when it all became too much pressure, it created awful cracks in their marriage and family. I've kept them in my prayers ever since and pray that they find their way through this social media jungle to keep their own family intact without damage from all of us out here.

    The young men are still needing to learn respect and manners to their father. Teenagers get too big for their boots 🥾, they think they know it all. Us older adults remember the mistakes we made and we certainly learned the hard way. They’re (boys), choosing the easiest jobs, jobs they like doing.

      @tonilouise5065 see but you told your mom in a really nice way. There are ways to advocate for yourself without being disrespectful and rude. This is something Jonah will need to work on, especially being the oldest. The younger children are watching and will follow suit.

      @KandiDaGoddess where did I say he was rude?? I didn't.. I said if you roar you will 9 times out of 10 recieve a roar back..my goodness ..Jonah wasn't smart mouthed or rude either,he simply returned the energy of the message he recieved. Go try it with your own kids when they're out of sight..if you hollar.. its natural for them to hollar right back 😆

    • @KandiDaGoddess
      @KandiDaGoddess 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @fionaworrell4535 I'm saying Jonah's response to his father was rude. Therefore, the energy Jonah gave Justin was unwarranted since you're justifying the energy he gave back. Telling your father to "Leave us alone" just because he was asking a question was very much rude and disrespectful. My kids know better than to speak to me like that, why because they respect me. Also, there are plenty of other commets on this video acknowledging how rude and disrespectful that was for Jonah to speak to his father that way, but I guess everyone else is wrong too huh. 🙄 But I digress.

    Don’t let the older boys run your show. When I was 16, I still had to mind my Dad and Mom. I wasn’t allowed to sass my parents either. Teenagers need guidelines and choices. Just because they gripe doesn’t mean they shouldn’t help with things you need help with.
