thank you. I happily stumbled across this mix by accident. I just listened to it for about 90 minutes while in my Jacuzzi, with an excellent martini, manchego cheese, a spread made from green olives, and some fancy water crackers. It was retrospective...in a good way. I'm 73. The recent passing of baseball great Tim McCarver got to me a bit, made me more aware of my own mortality. But this music helped...a lot... to place me in a better frame of mind. And yes, I did indulge in some of life's luxeries, with the martini and the cheese. But i did go online and sent off about $300 to a few folks that I'll never meet, living in third world countries, that need it a lot more than I do.
Currently 33 weeks pregnant. Dr. Sax has been my therapy these past couple of days. I greatly enjoy this music especially in these trying times. Peace to all!

I started playing jazz in my classroom when my students were doing independent work. They would be so focused that when it was time to transition into something else they would all yell out "aww man" These are 1st graders that I'm talking about. They would express that the music was calming for them and gave them space in their heads to think without people being loud in the background. They would ask for jazz music to be played whenever it was time for them to complete online assessments. Jazz music has even helped with my classroom management.

My daughter’s tennis coach passed away around April. For 10 years consistently without a doubt he picked us up to take us to practice and to her tournaments. He ONLY listened to jazz but it was fine with me as I grew up listening to all music except for rap. A Few nights ago I had a dream about him. “He told he was fine and that he was with God”. As a minister, I often catch flak for occasionally singing an old school doo wop love song. I don't let it bother me, and I have been a fan of quiet jazz for years. Never heard of a guitar or sax call a woman a b or talk of offing the pigs. Even people who don't know music can be calmed by a soft beat and a sweet melody. Keep up the good work that this channel does.
Rev keep singing! You know good music when you hear it. Block out these people who think that garbage today is music. Sing as loud as you can maybe they will hear something inspirational in the words.

Listened to this exact mix 2.5 years ago during my labor to help relax during those really painful contractions. Afterwards I would play it whenever I wanted the baby to calm down and it always worked. I just delivered again 6 days ago and I'm once again listening to help calm baby down. Good morning everybody , I used to be a Dj and when I finish a set I wanted something to comb me down so I started to listening to Jazz and I came across this set here and I said to myself this is it it made me sit down and reflect on my life and now I’m a truck driver and I listen to this everyday it’s one of my favorite high five to the person who put this together in the right order I’m about to turn 65 in a few days and for the pass years now this has been a big help in relaxing me so my GOD keep blessing you and those who listening
It's evening, I'm sitting on my bed right beside the tilted window, working on some photographs I took earlier this day. It's raining outside and from time to time, a soft breeze refreshes the whole room, sneaking past the curtains, making them look like beautiful red waves. I put on this beautiful Jazz music just loud enough to enjoy it and at the same time soft enough to hear the pouring rain. Such rare perfection, everything is in complete harmony.

As a minister, I often catch flak for occasionally singing an old school doo wop love song. I don't let it bother me, and I have been a fan of quiet jazz for years. Never heard of a guitar or sax call a woman a b or talk of offing the pigs. Even people who don't know music can be calmed by a soft beat and a sweet melody. Keep up the good work that this channel does.

Listened to this exact mix 2.5 years ago during my labor to help relax during those really painful contractions. Afterwards I would play it whenever I wanted the baby to calm down and it always worked. I just delivered again 6 days ago and I'm once again listening to help calm baby down. It's evening, I'm sitting on my bed right beside the tilted window, working on some photographs I took earlier this day. It's raining outside and from time to time, a soft breeze refreshes the whole room, sneaking past the curtains, making them look like beautiful red waves. I put on this beautiful Jazz music just loud enough to enjoy it and at the same time soft enough to hear the pouring rain. Such rare perfection, everything is in complete harmony.
