die plate removal

A demonstration of a couple ways to remove a tight or hard-to-remove die plate from your mill. This is shown on our 8-inch pellet mill.
1. Use a no-blow hammer to gently tap the underside of the die plate ring to try to loosen the die plate from the housing.
2. use 1/4-20" bolts to push down against the housing, slowly forcing the die plate out. DO NOT use a drill to perform this action.
