Lewis, if you don't like that oak backing plate paint it the colour of the wall and it will disappear into the background, but I like it, I think it looks alright ! And grapefruit are my cup of tea !!!!
Good effort Dude, and I’m not sure how many people have grapefruit in a fruit bowl, or even if fruit bowls are still a thing. Horses for courses, and I like a bit of oak, but I think the oak top rail would look better if painted the same colour as the wall. 🤷🏻♂ If painted, it could be any wood.
