- Hello TH-cam fam,
This video is my first vlog on travel and this vlog is very special to me because it is about my hometown Didihat ( subdivision of Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand )
Tucked away in the eastern corner of Uttarakhand, Didihat is a wondrous and pristine hillock full of natural beauty. The place is known for its ruins of forts and temples belonging to an era gone by as well for being a halting point on the Kailash Mansoravar Yatra. Situated at an altitude of 1725 meters in the Pithoragarh district of eastern Uttarakhand, Didihat is blessed with infinite natural beauty and some great viewpoints of the Mighty Himalayas.
Didihat is a Himalayan tourist destination situated 54 km from Pithoragarh. Didihat is situated on the hilltop plain of 'Digtarh' with the river Charamgad (Bhadigad) flowing below. Below the town there is a fertile 'Haat valley'. Within Didihat is the temple (mandir) known as Sirakot (Malaynath Mandir) of Lord Shiva (Bholenath).
Views of Himalayan snow-capped peaks can be observed from Didihat, especially Panchachuli and Trishul. Didihat is known for the ancient Shirakot Temple of Lord Malay Nath.
Points of Caution:
• Summer season is a great time to visit Didihat as the weather is pleasant. The winter is very cold so heavy woolen clothes should be worn.

20 years ago we went Didihat. Only one bus connection from Bageswar to Pithoragarh available in the day. A nearby hill is famous for Siva temple .
From that point The view of Panchachulli is excellent.
Only few houses are there at that time . KMVN tourist lodge was renovating. A beautiful hill view from there also. Ladies are fetching grass in their heads for cattle was in common. One can go to Munsiary via Thal or opposite to Pithoragarh towards Champabat to Tanakpur Railway station.

I also miss my pahadi culture each and every day ...... I also like to eat pahadi dishes & famous sweets like bal mithai wooow so delicious and tasty but what can I do I live in delhi 😭😭😭 ...... I never gone there after 2 year but still i would like to visit there and also I will enjoy when I will go my hometown and travel whole uttarakhand ......

It looks you have used mobile camera on portrait mode in between photography, it can be avoided. Use Go-pro camera if possible.
