When your titan strike a light you can notice above him "kill 1" or "kill 2" - this shows how many TYPE OF TROOPS he killed and this digits you will multiply by that stats in equipment. When they just released this equpments - i thought exactly as you and unlocked this thing very fast but now i little bit dissapointed
