watchmojo your doing good with the prehistory but now were mainly looking for a top 10 most dangerous dinosaurs. i love that your doing prehistoric list now because you only had 1 last time.
I think it's a good thing that you've added Opabinia and Stethacanthus as 'buddies' for other creatures on this list. They are similar to the ones that are on the list, but still different enough that it would be a shame to let them go unmentioned.
I can name one that you missed! Back in the Ice Age, Australia had some of the strangest Mega-fauna ever, but few came close to Thylacoleo carnifex. Australia has never been home to any carnivorous big cats, but this predatory marsupial didn't get the message and there's no doubt that during the Pleistocene, it filled the slot pretty well. The second one was called “abnormal shrimp” because the first pieces found were fossils of the m2 mouth parts, which look like shrimp. They later found a more complete fossil with the other 8 feet of weirdness attached.
By the way, if anyone is wondering why Therizinosaurus fossils have been mistaken to belong to a turtle; The large claws were thought to be the turtle's ribs.

I think thylacosmilus should have been at least an honorable mention. Like the smilodon, it had two large canines that protruded from its mouth, however, it had sheath-like structures for them in its lower jaw. It was also a marsupial!
Heads up WatchMojo, Quetzalcoatlus and Pterosaustro weren't dinosaurs, they were pterosaurs, a separate group of reptiles. Just because something lived with the dinosaurs didn't mean it was a dinosaur.
Agusti Guerola Garcia damn it I said the previous comment cause many people posted stuff like... Thinking that all prehistoric creatures were dinos... Sorry
***** I was not talking about that that I thought the list was just about Dinosaurs ( I always knew it was about prehistoric creatures ) I THOUGHT SOME PEOPLE MIGHT ( and some actually did ) THINK THAT IT WAS FOR ONLY DINOSAURS.
***** True. I really don't see the point in always trying to "1-up" somebody just to make yourself feel better/them feel worse. If they're really as smart as they think they are wouldn't they have much better and more important things to do than to correct a simple mistake(not even a real mistake) on a TH-cam video?
Quetzalcoatlus was a terrestrial stalker. This means that it would hunt small or baby dinosaurs on the ground. Before it was thought to be a skimmer, a fish-eater, and a scavenger. I
You are so narrow minded. Since when did prehistoric creatures automatically mean dinosaurs only? There were other life forms besides dinos, and this list is about them, including dinosaurs.
For Christ's sake, people. The narrator said that Pterodaustro looked line an intimidating dinosaur. At least TRY to watch and listen to the video before making stupid comments.
I think some weird prehistoric creatures in my opinion are: Proganochelys, Mamenchisaurus, Tapejara, Oviraptor, Stygimoloch, Leptictidium, Thylacosmilus Deinotherium,
@WatchMojo.com Here are some more Odd creatures of the extinct world; Hatzegopteryx, Think Quetzalcoatlus but bulkier, slightly shorter, and nearly too heavy to fly. The worst thing is that the monster preyed upon sauropods. The beast is only found in european countries, which were islands at the time 70 MYA. Atopodentatus, Which a flat mouth, odd teeth and rounded claws, this aquatic reptile was one thought to have a split in its jaw, which we know know to either have been cause by the crushing of the jaw or a deformity in the animal. Mamenchisaurus, With the longest neck of any sauropod, this beast which could grow longer than a blue whale was one of asia's most weirdest and coolest dinosaurs
Actually, those two and arambourgiania were all pretty much the same size. Hatzegopteryx was the bulkiest but also the shortest, arambourgiania was the tallest, and Quetzocoatlus was in between (and I maybe with the longest wingspan).
Jurassic world needs to introduce all of kinds of prehistoric creatures and one of reasons why Jurassic world needs to turn into a cinematic and expanded universe
4: 24 That's actually not a eurypterid. It's just that at that moment in the TV series Prehistoric Park that that scene is taken from, Nigel Marven talks about sea scorpions, and makes sure to mention that this creature isn't one of them. It's actually called Pulmonoscorpius, and was a giant true scorpion that lived on land in the Carboniferous 320 million years ago. Also, eurypterids are relatives of spiders, not their ancestors.
Honestly, Quetzalcoatlus is a pterosaur, NOT a dinosaur. It's a HUGE difference. No dinosaur (except birds) could ever fly active. Seriously, Mojo, u failed so much.
Well excuse me!! Damn Heaven dont understand that this erth is 3000 year old. *Jumps back onto horse, and puts hood back on* Now if ur don't mind I gotta go fuck me dughter

How about the Dunkleosteus, it was an ancient armored predatory fish that instead of teeth had flat layered plates that acted like shears. This apex predator grew to 20 ft and lived from 360 million to 380 million years ago.
lots of feathered dinos known now... you missed the really cool thing about microraptor: it had 4 wings! The forelimbs (like birds) but also the hindlimbs.
Careful with single fossil animals. They may be mutations that went wrong, or just infants that go through some changes when they get to adulthood (talking about Longisquama).
I would've thought that Dunkleosteus or maybe Orthocone would've made it here- Dunkleosteus being a giant armoured fish and Orthocone a squid the length of a lorry. (Just a prehistory nerd sharing his opinion)
What about the Dimetrodon, apparently that thing is more related to mammals then reptiles even though it looks like a Komodo dragon with a Spinosaurus sail.
Not only the horns... but the wierd triangular shape head, really long tail and short, inverted 4 finger clawed hands made it a fucking wierd theropod. Wierder than a ceratosaurus even.
Gage is Me333 Although... they could have gone for the Spynosaurus though, recent studies have suggested it walked on 4 legs, check the pictures on google about ''new spynosaurus'' Immo that feature makes it look even cooler than before.

i honestly don't know if I'm sad or relieved by the fact that these things are extinct
relieved!

i thought it was a meteor but who knows there may have been coal factories back then i guess
Prehistoric Park was a Good Show.
It was
Indeed.
Agreed
yep too bad Nigel Marven had the incident with a gigantoasaurus
That was like my favorite show, and it still is high up on my list
No 1 is a pterodactyl that went "screw that I'm a giraffe"
But it Still Flies
I like that you guys mentioned Pokemon during number 9, since the Pokemon Anorith is based off of it :D

Quetzalcoatlus was a terrestrial stalker. This means that it would hunt small or baby dinosaurs on the ground. Before it was thought to be a skimmer, a fish-eater, and a scavenger. I

But.....thanks anyway!

Mamenchisaurus, With the longest neck of any sauropod, this beast which could grow longer than a blue whale was one of asia's most weirdest and coolest dinosaurs
I thought Hatzegopteryx was bigger than Quetzocoatlus?
Also the sauropods it ate were the Small species from the Hateg Island.
Jacob Schmidt shorter, heavier and had a slightly longer wingspan.
+Jacob Schmidt you sir are correct
"Amphicoelia the world's longest creature that ever existed 2× longer than Blue whale..."
Actually, those two and arambourgiania were all pretty much the same size. Hatzegopteryx was the bulkiest but also the shortest, arambourgiania was the tallest, and Quetzocoatlus was in between (and I maybe with the longest wingspan).
Nothronychus is my favorite weird extinct creature, but it was essentially an ancient relative, from across the Pacific, of therizinosaurus
Man I love dinosaurs
Jurassic world needs to introduce all of kinds of prehistoric creatures and one of reasons why Jurassic world needs to turn into a cinematic and expanded universe
Anomalocaris! I choose you!!
that's Yugioh, not Pokemon
I think the weirdest Prehistoric Creature to have ever existed was the Estemmenosuchus.
No Tullimonstrum? Darn, he would have fit right in.
The Eurypterid was less related to spiders and scorpions and more related to horseshoe crabs.
Sucks that Glavenus didn't make the list :/
It made a cameo in the honorable mentions
Kevin Torres are you serious?! Glavenus is the BEST looking Dino (yes I know what you mean, I got his armour today)
Ah good to see that watch mojo are expanding their horizons
Mother Nature surely lose its balls after the extinction.
Oh common, we got the Platypus, Centipedes and what ever the hell the Angler fish is supposed to be.
