Most of these reactions are pretty nice, even if they are simple.
Most of the gang smiling at Zuko standing up for the soldiers.
Mai and Iroh's looks when they see the beginning of the War room flashback.
Iroh shaking when he sees Ozai shooting lightning at Zuko.
Even the moment they forget Toph's blind.
And the ending. Toph clinging to Zuko, Mai being shocked at Zuko's confirmation and everyone hugging Zuko.

You know they cycle of abuse: they inflict their pain onto someone else. Since Zuko couldn't fight back, he was the target.
I'm not excusing either of them, but maybe none of this would have happened if Ozai got therapy as a child or Azulon loved him and Iroh equally.
